In the morning. Who is ready to get trampled in the mad rush? I am! I can't wait till somebody knocks me over and then 10 people trample me to death. I'm usually the first person at the door and the last to get in.

Shop Early. But Not THAT Early...

Welcome to the wonderful world of consumerism... ;) This happy little day got arranged when whoever was responsible for setting the official holiday dates decided to give us a 4 day weekend instead of 3.

BTW, folks, the sales WILL still be going on TOMORROW... And they WILL have restocked the shelves... ;)

Unless you're shopping for a Playstation 2. But that's a can of worms I absolutely REFUSE to go further into... *grumbles a bit about Sony and kicks sand in the direction of Japan* :)

No way!! I am not setting foot out of this house until Saturday...unless my grandma calls to invite us for leftovers :)

No way, this is the first year in 20 years I don't have to wotk it in the store. Because of the broken wrist I am out for awhile. Hate the wrist being busted, but it does have its compensations. My store opened at 6. Poor ladies.....

Me! Me! Me! Me!

Of course! It is tradition! In about an hour, I'll pile my mom, sister and 2 year old niece (from out of town) and me into the car, drive 2 hours to our favorite mall in the next state, have lunch at a fun restaurant, shop for about 3 hours total, and drive home again. The shopping isn't the important part of the day, it is the family bonding.

For all you hunters out there- just had a six point buck walk by my deck not more than 20 feet from where I'm sitting and head into the woods behind my house. He is still out there strolling along- beautiful!

Our store opened at 7am, I go to work at 10am, so the worst of it will be over. It is pouring down rain here, but we give a teddy bear to the first 700 shoppers, so people will line up early. The bears are usually gone in 10 minutes. I was on leave of absence last year & went out of town to my sister's. We got up early, hit the mall & were home by 11am. I had always worked, so wanted one year to check out the early shopping.I have most of mine already done, so will finish the last few things at my store. I still just want it to all be over.
