"What a dump!"
"Don't you know anything?"
"and she said....'What a dump!'"

Good picture. :)

"I don't bray....."

Rent it. Richard Burton and Liz Taylor.

From Edward Albee's play.

It's viscious. :)

This place sometimes reminds me of the film. I off to the recliner and kitten.

:)

We had to read the play in high school, but I didn't really appreciate it until I saw the movie with Elizabeth Taylor, of course then I had to go back and re-read the play again several times because I enjoyed it so much.

It's a bit like "Death of A Salesman" with Dustin Hoffman. Everything is so manic in both plays, it's easier to get the real feeling of them after seeing a visual representation.

No.

I felt pity.

Lexie- I have read the play, but never seen it performed on stage. The film- well.... the film stands on it's own.

Ram- to be honest? I would have banged the shit out her too. Irony is that my sister tells me that Richard Burton's character reminds her of me.

Could be worse, I suppose.

okay yeah...in the end.

When I watched that movie...I looked over at my ex-wife and thought how much she reminded me of Martha and I of George. That was on a regular day.

Perhaps that's why I wanted to bash her head in.

Martha: You make me puke.
George: That wasn't a very nice thing to say, Martha.

nah. that was a failed attempt at a joke.

Ahhhh cool. I get anoyed when I hear that about Shakespeare(yes I know he didn't write Who's Afraid). It's a bloody PLAY. You're SUPPOSED to see it. lmao

I am gonna watch it again today.

George is at first glance a hero. No. An anti-hero.

Anti-heros rock. He is a defeated man, but there is a goodness about him. Not saying I am George. There is a little of me in each of the characters of this play-made-film film.

Albee was onto something.

Lexie. I want to cuddle you av. My kitten abuses me through the day and then comes to me..... she lets me cuddle her like a baby. She lets me rub her belly (only when she wants).

I love her. I am 39. When I am 59 I hope she is still with me. :)
