Haven't been around for a few days, just logged into my account and it's all pretty and fancy! Will take some getting used to, but I like it!

It looks like they made the new interface the default interface. As near as I can tell they made the switch a couple hours ago.

I'm not happy. I have 11 pages of my submissions to get through and another page for my poetry.

Before I could see everything by scrolling down.

I just saw mine change today. It looks good, really reminds me of a twitter page

I just logged in for the first time in a couple of days. it was a surprise. I'd tried it before a few times, and it has some neat features, but like Ogg has mentioned, it's not as compact for checking stories as the old one.

And my old eyes the pale blue isn't as readable as the old one. Still, I'm sure I'll get used to it.

There is an option at the bottom of the page that lets you switch back to the old interface. On the other hand, you have sort options and a search that you didn't have before.

Works for me just fine. Mmmm...sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Yes, same, and sometimes it links back to the new one...

If the new one showed the real number of votes, we could do without the old one... It's all that's keeping us from using it.

All mine are correct except the ones that are over a 1,000. Maybe we should tell them about that?

The contrast between the text and the background is far too weak.

It is going to cause problems for those with any vision difficulties.

If you hover your cursor over the views displayed it will expand and give you an actual total. I believe Manu told those of us doing the beta testing the vote totals would eventually end up that way also.

That's probably the views you are hovering over. The vote is shown after the score and doesn't expand.

x.xx / votes.

The space saved is tiny and could be made up for by removing the Published image. https://www.literotica.com/my/assets/images/published.png

And the expand hover is an unnecessary extra step to view the data. When it is expanded, it takes the space that it would have taken if just shown....

I'm going to reiterate what Ogg said about the contrast between the text and the background being too weak.

It's going to take me a while to get used it. Undoubtedly, there will be some tweaks and by that time we'll all be used to it. :D

I have my druthers on how I'd rather see it laid out.

Seeing everything on the first page is a little daunting. I'd rather see just my posted works on the first page, then see comments highlighted somehow to know if there is new comments, if I was so inclined to know about such things. Likewise for people favoriting.

But, all in all, it's not so bad...

That and it takes up far too much screen space. It's painful having to toggle thru pages of stories and I only have two. It sucks on my cell as well.

On the other hand, I like being able to sort the stories by date and the other options. Guess I'll learn to live with it but I'm sticking with switching back to the old interface for now.

Help...
How does one log in and out, if the old format UI will soon be discontinued? I logged out, using the old UI, (or rather, I did a 'clear browsing history' in chrome, which automatically logged me out of Lit) and when I logged back in, by clicking on my desktop 'Literotica' icon and opening the original UI, all I can do is come to the forum; clicking on any of the story categories just gets me an error page, so I'm a little confused; what am I doing wrong?

I hadn't tried it with Google Chrome before, but I reached the new UI without any problems.

I did notice while logging in from two different machines on Firefox that the history in the browser might confuse things. If you get a dysfunctional page then you might try reloading it to see if that changes things.
