Where would you like to be with them to see it?

Do you have a favorite spot to watch a sunset or sunrise?

Sunsets? Has to be in Bali and a special resort with each Bure has it's own pool and bar. It's so great there is a cocktail named after it.

Pricisly, my juicylips. He's all mine!

I cannot possibly tell you "who"....;)

The where is just about anywhere....all the atomsphere I need is "him". :)

There's a couple people I know I would enjoy watching a sunrise and sunset with. I haven't been too many places, but one of the most beautiful sunsets I remember watching was in Hawaii on the North Shore. The Oregon Coast I learned first hand this year is a great spot for sunrise or sunset watching.
Though, any place would be beautiful with the right person.

My favorite spot to watch the sunset would have to be on the beach near my home, watching the sun disappear into the water is something that I will never get over.

As for the person I want to have with me when I watch it I don't know yet..... she hasn't walked into my life yet.

this is an easy one.........

my husband......... nzwookie
on the porch of our house........ while drinking a jim Beam and coke....... and eating kettle fried chips............. Perfect!

I like to watch alone because I don't like to be disturbed during moments of awe. I like variety of location, the foreground sometimes enhances the colors.

I love watching them from the front porch of my house. I live up at the crest of a hillside with flowering shrubs down over the hill, at the bottom of the hill is a pond. When watching the sun set or rise you can see the reflections back over the water and smells the blooming flowers on the breeze.

As for who......there are several here I would love to share those quiet moments with, sharing something I love and sharing my home.

Hey, what's with all this future conditional tense? Mr. deV. ain't taking you into Lit-exile with him, is he? Fuckall.

And being New Jersey-raised, I'd have to say sunrise, 'cause it's on the beach. There are a few special people right now who'd I like to share that with.

It has to be with my lover........and across a lake....hopefully with a small campfire just starting to crackle.....

Morning!

I usually get up early enouth to watch the sunrise. Either from my sunroom or from the lake at the back of my house.

I usually watch it alone but there are a couple of people I wouldn't mind sharing it with.

Preferably on a beach somewhere...
Maybe the south of France...
With my very own Geek :)

Nope, don't get rid of me that easy, just telling it like it is :)

I might add another to my list, though... I'd give anything to sit on a beach just one more time and watch a sunrise or sunset with a special person who is gone but by no means forgotten.

And somewhere, somehow, she too knows who she is :rose:
Glad to hear that; I'd miss my English Rose of the Outback.

And a :rose: for you, for remembering. Sometimes there's a bittersweet feeling at sunset, thinking about those who've ridden off into it. You know there in a better place, but that doesn't fill the emptiness they leave behind. You're such a sweetie, V.V.*

I'd prefer to watch the sunrise. I get a gorgeous view right outside my kitchen window. I can stand there, cup of coffee in hand, and watch the sun come up over the hills .......... it's breathtaking and it never fails to start my day out on the right foot.

On the beach at Plettenberg Bay. The reds and blues over the mountains across the bay are without equal.

I'd be with my Pixie, and a glass of cold white wine.

Wow, I feel so chilled right now I don't care about the file permission problems I'm having here... :D

Good afternoon, JL. This one is from my bedroom here in Stirling. I kid you not!

You know you are welcome to discuss the sunsets with me here anytime!

Direction is important - and time of year. Sunsets are like making love - no two are the same. Unless, of course, you get the same metereological conditions on the same date in a subsequent year. I often think about than when I'm screwing.

I am soooo slipping. I actually forgot I had started this thread....I get sidetracked too easily sometimes..lol.

Morning, Tan...always nice to see you post.:)

Trish..I am the same way. But I like taking my coffee onto the front porch and sit. Pet my dog and listen to the sounds of my farm waking up.

Ram...my dear, wonderful man....I'll let you watch the sunset alone...but I want to be there when the sun rises.

My front porch is on the wrong side of the house unfortunately but on some nights it's the perfect place for a little 'moon watching'.
