And what did you think of that questionable call? I thought that the ball should have switched hands...it was a bogus call!

it was a completely bogus call....but it's okay Steelers will kick the Pat's asses and you won't have to worry about it.

Nah, the Rams are gonna take it all!

How would you like to have been the snowblower guys...lol...that is one wild way to get your 30 seconds of fame...

I think the call was absolutely correct. It was also irrelevant. If the raiders had played like a championship team, the call would have made no difference.

No kidding! I was warm, dry and drinking while watching! lol

I would NOT have been one of those fans in the seats...yikes...someone would have had to breathe hot air on me for many many hours to defrost me after that game!

(and we will just see about your prediction there, darlin ;))

What If?

I may have been a bad call...but his arm was going forward...and rules are rules.........

The Breast Man..........and once Little League Ump......now that rough

That was a fumble..........not an incomplete pass. Though the Raiders shoudn't have let themselves get in that position in the first place........that was a bogus call.

that's very true. It shouldn't have been that close of a game. For either team.

I kept trying to watch, but something was wrong with my TV. The screen was all white. I could almost make out the game. Shoulda called the cable company. Irrelevant any... Steelers will kill either of them.

It was a bullshit call. Incomplete pass my ass. It's pretty much mute because of the Steelers though.

that's right steelers....rule... uh huh.....<putting on my steeler cheerleading outfit>.....wooooo hoooooooo.

I would agree with that assessment WH. IF the Raiders played like they wanted it they would have not been in that position in the first place..........(although I still think it was a fumble, he had the ball tucked away and it was AFTER his arm COMPLETED the forward motion that it was popped out by Woodson.)

I thought the Raiders played well considering they were playing in the blizzard.

The Patriots had the home-field advantage and had mother nature on their side, and they still played horribly.

Raiders got robbed!

I was a pat fan but my favorite q-back is leaving and they are not playing him so i did not care who one i don't like the raiders and i never like the seahawks i'm not sure this year.

The game

The call was irrelevant. Neither of those teams would beat the Ravens (who are now out themselves) or the Steelers.

BUT it was a fun game to watch. Blow up all the domes. Footbal is meant to be played outdoors with Mother Nature having fun with the players. :) :)

I agree with WeirdHarold.

I have also talk about the Raiders ability to self-implode.

If you read the rule book (as was pointed out in the pre-game shows today, as long as the arm is going forward [even if patting the ball] and not tucked in for a run, then it is a forward pass.

Sorry.

Once he brought the ball back down and placed his left hand back on it, It was obvious that there was a reconsideration about passing. Therefore I think the call was bad. I'm not an Oakland or a New England fan, so I really didn't care.

Pittsburg is gonna choke on St. Louie's proverbial wang... :p

Look, I agree with you, but it is not the way the rule is written and the officials were right to go with the written rule. Otherwise anarchy is the result.
