Who WAS that voice on the phone???

Does anyone else have people who call them (male and/or female) on the phone and NEVER say who is calling??? I just hate that!

I got a phone call tonight...from someone who obviously knows me because they called me by name...someone who I haven't spoken to in awhile because they said Happy New Year.... then when I couldn't hear this person properly because of the noise in the room where I was...said Ok, you sound busy. I will talk to you soon.

How will I talk to them when I don't even know who it was in the first place???

Caller Id would be great but it was on my cell phone and I don't want to pay any more than I already do.

Besides that...what if the number doesn't show up???

I have this one g/f who sounds exactly like my sister-in-law...I have known her for 5 years and we all still get the two confused.
