Or... failing to find that, there's me!

Honestly, looking for some fun conversations. Anthropology, Video games, Comics, etc....
Or... you know, Lit type stuff.

It would also be nice for people to send messages and hugs, those are always awesome.

Basics - I'm 6'10, decent shape, bit of a gentleman Daddy Dom, and looking for fun people to chat with.
So.... say hi :D

I found this so lonely I felt the need to add a short reply.
I find myself very sad and a little stupid, I basically. For long periods of my childhood and teens I very much lived in a library (domestic trouble). I found myself drawn to comics. I think the combination of story, script and illustration covered my vivid imagination. I've, on the odd occasion been thinking or describing an amazing movie I happened to see recently. Of course it wasn't a movie but a comic.
Wow, movie is throwing up a misspelling? I can't recall many titles or authors as I often went by the cover picture. I remember the first thing I read which was Asterix and one author I kept going back to, Neil Gaiman. Actually I remember a few others but literally a handful. Hence my feeling stupid, along with definitions of words. I can place words where they can be used, I know the difference between similar sounding/spelt words but I don't often know their meaning. An example from this week, someone I like said I was aloof which I thought meant airhead, flaky. Someone with their head in the clouds. I got that definition from the sound of the word and I actually took it as a compliment. Of course I was wrong, according to an online dictionary it means; adverb 'at a distance, especially in feeling or interest; apart: ' or adjective 'reserved or reticent; indifferent; disinterested: '. Which is true, but it's group counselling and my least favourite subject is me so it's expected.
This was meant to be short. What are you currently reading? I fell in love with the sandman series, I think I read volumes 1-3 in one sitting. I had to stop there as the library didn't have any more. I've not found anything that keeps my attention recently. I've gone through the Preacher, Sin City, 100 bullets, Constantine and a handful of Japanese comics. Chobits, GTO, Ghost in the shell and a very weird one about Zombie fish/animals powered by a bacteria that sounded like intelligent farts combined with steampunk-esque mechanical support. I really want a re-read but google isn't helping to get the title. I'm currently reading the books behind movies I liked. Read 'One flew over the cuckoos nest'. Must be my favourite movie, but the book is so much more.
Anything you highly suggest? Don't get me started on games, I think I have every UK released console from the Atari 2600 onwards minus the NeoGeo, this gen only the ps4, wii u and Atari Jaguar. I recently got the Amstrad GX4000 which to my dismay is just a CpC. It was a lucky buy from a local market, regret ignoring the Virtual boy someone had for sale for close to a year but I guess the price was too high. I used to love our local market but then in turned into a hell hole. The moronic sellers would buy anything decent then push the price up 10 fold. There should be a rule against that. I used to get some nice used audio and visual electronics and the best things they had was Argos returns. Argos is a UK catalogue retailer who had a 16 day money back promise, no questions asked. People must have been either dumb or abused the items as there was minor damage which took a minute to fix on most things.
Okay end of my ramble, doubt it covered your idea of fun but here's a huggy. /hug
