I know we have a 100 music threads but...fuck it, this one is mine.

Now I know we all have different tastes in music but I need some GOOD suggestions, people. You are going to be like "WTH" but I have never had an iPod before and this one is an older nano. I'd still like to put some good music on it and then maybe, down the road, upgrade.

The Beatles and Led Zeppelin...got to have the classics.

The Decemberists are good.

Dave Matthews Band.

Live Art by Bela Fleck

Man, so many groups and great music.

Now don't yell at me.

I love Robert Plant but I love his solo stuff.

The Beatles are ok.

Thanks for the recommendations. :)

No yelling.

What type/style of music do you like?

How about Robert Plant and Allison Krause? I think it's called Raising Sand.

I am weird.

I like some 80s music, a LOT of 90s music and alternative rock now. At night I listen to classical music to go to sleep. I also love Leonard Cohen. I am a weird mix.

Also, since you like Cohen you'll probably want Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah.

You need some Barry White on there for when you are wanting to get your groove on.

Canadian must haves....

Joni Mitchell-Blue

Neil young -harvest

Ron sexsmith - ron sexsmith

Rush- moving pictures

Bryan adams- reckless

Sloan- twice removed

Leonard cohen- songs of leonard cohen

Tragically hip- fully, completely

Blue rodeo - 5 days in july

The band - music from big pink (!)

Arcade fire- funeral

Andra Day's album is fabulous.

Thanks to disgustipated for that. I checked it out because of one of his blurts.
