Reno Spazzola was quite respected among his people for his work ethics as well his ruthlessness if you cross him. He was renown for a skill to make money and being cunning bastard . Many wondered if he be next in line as leader of the head family, the way he quickly raised in ranks. But lately something else was on Renos Spazzola's mind...a young lady he seen a few weeks ago. He had his men find out her identity as he had look into the prospect of settling down himself . A few weeks later, his men return with the information, her name was Angelica Taravella, she was the granddaughter of a low rank mobsters Vinny Strada, someone he had done business here a there over the years. Her mother was a widow that now lives with a boyfriend that had a bad gambling habit.
Something he knew about, as Vinny was fed up with helping pay off his debt to keep his daughter and grand daughter out of debt.

Reno Spazzola invited Vinny Strada and his family to one of his parties to get more acquainted as well get to meet the grand daughter and set an arrangement that would benefit both families.
As he expected in the evening he was inform of their arrival, Vinna had brough his daughter with boyfriend and his grand daughter as well . She was quite petite, 5'1 to be exact, she look around a bit excited seeing how beautiful it was. She more a short purple dress that accentuated her violet eyes with those natural double lashes that make her look even beautiful ,her long raven hair down to her waist.. Just as she was looking around, her mother's boyfriend grip her arm and whispered something in her ear that wipe off her beautiful smile.

Reno looked up from his desk as one of his men came in to notify him of the Stradas arrival. He nodded his head once and rose to his feet as he slipped on his black jacket. He straightened hos fine suit on his frame as he wandered over to a mirror in the office to check himself. Short black hair, neatly cut but graying slightly and steel grey eyes. Once the gentleman was satisfied with his appearence he made his way to the entry of his home to greet the Strada family, specifically the young girl.

"Vinny, how are you? This must be your beautiful granddaughter, Angelica. So good to finally meet you."

Vinny Strada smiled as he shook hands with Reno: " Thank you so much for the invite to your beautiful home..." *Angelica Taravella blushed at Reno as she shook his hand* "the pleasure is all mi.." *Her mother's boyfriend cuts into their conversation* So , he loaded eh....not bad....*pushes Angelica out of his way as he walk up to Reno extend his hand* " Maybe you and i can talk business...i got some ideas to "invest " in...*smirks. Angelica's mother tries to intervene...sweety, i think...*The boyfriend shove his finger in her face* " i aint talking to you, woman..." *She quickly back off as the boyfriend smirks at reno* " what you say "reno"? " *smirks, it was obvious he was a bully*

 

[LucasC00]

"I say that I didn't invite you here to talk business, that if anyone was invited so that I could discuss bussiness eith it would be Mr. Strada here. Quite frankly, I don't know or even care who you are." He looked pass him for a brief moment to meet the eyes of Angelica once more and size her up before looking back to Vinny, "Where are my manners Vinny, can I get you and yours something to drink? Maybe a cigar for yourself?" He all but completely ignored the idiot datong Angelica's mother as he led them through the bottom of the house and out to the back veranda, occasionaly pausing at a piece of art to comment on it.

The boyfriend looked as if his head would explode as he clenches his fists but seem to know better than try put his hand on Reno. Vinnie Strada smiled at Reno: " actually , i was hoping to talk some business for our future...privately ..*looks at Angelica and smiles: " sweety go get something to drink, dont worry, you safe in Mr. Spazzola's home..." *Angelina bite her lower lip before she rush off after the pile of cheese, one of her weakness. While her mother was trying to calm her boyfriend before it escalate *

Vinny Strada smiled: "Sorry about that brute....i have no idea what my daughter see in him but i be damn if i let her stupidity ruin my granddaughter's future..."

He offers a faint smile and chuckle as he leads Vinny away from prying ears. "Well family is family, all you can do is support them. However, accidents do happen a lot, especially to people who owe money like he does. And speaking of your granddaughter, she's become a very beautiful woman, she must have many suitors trying for her attentions, hm?" From an inside pocket of his coat he produced two cigars, one of which he offers to Vinny before lighting his own up.

Vinny Strada laughs: " indeed, i wouldn't mind if a safe landed on that pigs head while i taped it to replay while i had a nice cognac...*smirks* " Even a blind man could see her beauty...she takes after her grand mother..."*saying proudly as he remember his wife beauty, accepts the cigar* "thank you.... I fear that brute noticed her too and fear his intentions towards my grand daughter...my daughter mention he brings strange men to show her off...whatever it means..." *clenches his fist in anger * " I was hoping you find me a good suitor for her...she is young but she is of age to bare children and be married..."

"What about myself, Vinny? She'd obviously be well taken care of with me, she wouldn't want for anything and I can keep her protected from our lifestyle. As a bonus I can make sure that your daughter's boyfriend ceases to be an issue in the family, honestly doing that would be in my own interests anyways if we join our families together. I understand if you don't want to give me an answer right now, but think about it, I have an ear here and there and occasionaly that lands me a favor or two, and what would benefit me, benefits you as well."

Vinny Strada blinks before laughing : " I be damned...even you could not escape her beauty....hypnotizing, eh....*tilt his head a moment as he replies: " i thought you were with that lady ..ummm...whats her name...Agnese..the daughter of ummm...God i am getting old...* annoyed as it takes time for him to remember* " Abate...Agnese Abate, that it..." *rubs his chin* I always like you, Reno cause you always honest business man, always knew what i sign up for without surprise... " *clears* "she my precious gift...and i dont want no player... she deserve the best...if you vow be faithful, provide and all she deserve, i be willing accept to give her to you with all my blessing..." *Vinnie was a simple honest man which is why they always got along and made business fly with no problems*

"You know me, Vinny. I'm a man of my word, if I say something, then it happens. I'll be loyal to your granddaughter, your family will be mine, and vice versa, which means there'll be a certain individual going away on a long trip." A quick nod of his head back to the other gentleman with the name he never bothered to get. "So, we'll have some drinks to celebrate, and then we'll start making plans, it'll probably be best if you go give your family the good news." He offered a steady hand to his associate and shook before waving one of his staff over to go get drinks.

Vinny Strada nods as he smiles knowing marrying a powerful man will keep his grand daughter safe : " I should warn you...my Grand daughter , she stobburn like her mother...and modern mentality...I personally think its best she marry right away as a stay at home mother, good for the children and husband...you understand? But she might not agree....she might need "convincing" for what is best for her...future...if you understand, my meaning...also....my daughter, Bella...was hoping find her a simple man keep her in place, no relation to our business but stop her nonsense and disgrace our name by her unladylike activities..." *smiles as he like idea the ladies settle before he passed*

"If she wants to go out and work, she can, i honestly have no problem with that Vinny. This is why you and so many others run into trouble, too stuck in the old ways, bot willing to adapt or adapt enough. But rest assured she will be a proper lady, or at least carry herself as one and appear to be one, and will be well insulated from my business affairs. You know, there are some businesses of yours that I think would make excellent wedding gifts..."

 

[Kililia]

Vinny Strada laughs: " You cocky bastard, yes, yes, i know what you have in mind as a wedding gifts....*smirks* We can meet up next time to settle that, son in law....anyways its no use to me with the way my health has been and best keep the business in the "family" *smirk* But you better give me something in return like a...Grandson or 10...before i die *laughs. He gets up slowly with a bit of difficulty and extends his hand: " I send her to your office while i deal with Bella.."* Slowly heads out*

**A few minutes later, a knock on the door as he is inform Angelica had arrived. She walk in his office, confused: ' umm...hello...i was told by grand father, you wish to see me? *Leans her back against the door nervously*

He quickly rises to his feet and smiles as he steps around his desk to take her hand and lead her to a seat. "Ah, Angelica!, So good to be able to speak with you alone. I have some very good and exciting news. Your father and I have been talking and we both agree that this would work out very well for everyone. I'd like for you to marry me."

 

[Kililia]

Angelica smiles as she is led to the chair, sitting down : " i dont see why you wanna talk to me...i am not part of my grand father's business...*her smile vanishes as she stare at him in confusion and disbelief. Lets out a nervous laugh: " for a second i thought , you said marry you....which...is...in...sane...I think there was a misunderstanding....i am *lies* already...dating...in a ...relationship...i MEAN, i am in a relationship, now...*hope to god, he believes her lie cause she rarely did and sucked at it*

He chuckles a bit as he pats her hand, "Is the idea of marrying me really so terrible? Is it because I'm older? Nothing to worry about, I'm as healthy and fit as any man half my age. i have money and influence, I can make sure that you never need or want anything. This is going to happen no matter what, but I'd like very much for you to be a willing participant, Angelica."

 

[Kililia]

Angelica looks at him in disbelief: " not terrible but i am to young to marry and i dont know you...and..and...I ...I am flattered Mr. Spazzola but i can't...*blinks as he mention it would happen whether she likes it or not. She suddenly stands up upset, shaking her head:" You can't just force me to marry you...that is illegal and insane....I told you, i dont know you...what in...*pulls her hand away from his as she tries to leave * " I am going home....and i think best we forget we ever had this conversation ' * She obviously did not know who he was and what power he had and easily he could take over her life*

 

[LucasC00]

"I'm truly sorry that you feel this way Angelica, but as I said, this is happening wether you want it to or not. I would suggest just making the most of the situation and enjoy yourself, you'll find that I can be a very reasonable and affectionate man, but if you cross me you will regret it, do you understand?"

Angelica stops dead in her track as she turns to him: " Please......you can't do this to me...! I mean, you dont know anything about me...you...you just can't take over my life just cause you want to marry me! *gulps knowing a man like him was dangerous to cross* " I have my own life plans and they do not involve you....* She plan to date in college and get shit face, party and sleep with guys and no longer be the good catholic virgin girl anymore. * " Please...i am sure you can have any woman....except for me...please be reasonable...Mr. Spazzola .." *always using his name to distance herself from him. She was unaware her grand father had already left the building with her mother, so she be force stay in her husband house*
