Who is your favorite GB aesthetician?

.....if you had to pick one, and only one to hang out with all day long. Who would it be?

Does it have to be all day? Can it be for half a day? Or maybe 5 minutes that would probably feel like a day?

Anything you want.

I feel that way about most people...

five minutes = all day

Time is relative.

So five minutes in a dark closet with the GB aesthetician of your choice.

You first. Who would you choose?

I feel like a spa day too.

But I'll have to settle for a honey almond milk bath with bubbles.

This is really nice:

I'm getting a facial this week, with a Brazilian wax. Looking forward to it.

You know, I didn't wax for a long time because I heard horror stories about the pain involved. But really, it only hurts for a split second when they pull the wax off, then immediately the pain subsides. Then it's weeks of hair-free-ness.

If you share that coffee scrub, I'd choose you. I make my own with yogurt, milk and finely ground chocolate infused coffee.

Facial sounds relaxing.

Sounds painful I'm a shaver, it's like shearing a sheep.

I use to wax my legs but it was messing with my skin, also it hurts even with numbing cream. I stick with the razor all around except I pluck my facial hair.

Sour cream is good for exfoliating but it's pretty strong, and you run the risk of being attack by corn chips.

Yogurt, I never thought of that! I've mixed coffee grounds with honey and used that on my face before. Yogurt would be nice too.

I used to shave my bikini line, but I get gnarly ingrowns. I've never waxed anywhere but my bikini region.

I still shave my legs, arms, and (once a week) my face & neck.

Have you ever put cooked oatmeal on your face?

We should make this thread a girly beauty thread.

That's okay. I like corn chips, so I'll use the sour cream as bait. Like a predator and prey, only me and corn chips. And sour cream!

Yogurt does the same as sour cream but its milder, I think it moisturizes better. I've never tried honey but I bet that's good for firming and moisturizing.

That's my problem with waxing and shaving but I exfoliate before and after then moisturize so it seems to cut down on it. Another problem with waxing for me is I'm prone to spider veins, waxing makes them worse but that's after years of waxing. I use to hot wax once a month.

Oatmeal is great, calms the skin!

That's a great idea, it's nice to hear what others do.

That would make a great how to facial video, at the end your reward is sour cream and chips.

When I was in elementary school, I wanted to be a witch for Halloween. My stepmom had the brilliant idea to add green food coloring to cooked oatmeal and coat my face with it to give the appearance of stereotypical Halloween witch warty skin. All was well until the stuff dried into a hard shell that began to pull my skin from my face (or so I was convinced). I was so happy to wash that crap off my face later that night. I should've taken a moment to marvel at how smooth the oatmeal exfoliation had made my skin, but those aren't the sorts of things you think about when you're 8.

We never appreciate those things at 8, besides Halloween is all about the treats.

I would do lots of thing if it ended with chips and sour cream.
