This question came up in another thread but not quite in the same context. I put it to you all, "Who is this Mae?" What is she to you? When did you first notice her? (And if you haven't yet you better sit down because you are in for some outstanding threads.) Feel free to share whatever you feel.

To quote Mae herself

"** hugs**"

Well....

*pondering*

I have alot to say....I will post a response. Mae has been many things to me.....

I don't want this to sound like bullshit, but when I look at Mae's pictures, it's like looking at the Venus of Willendorf, or some such symbol of womanhood.
Her beautiful, voluptuous figure, so artistically presented, just strikes me as an expression of both the power and mystery of not just her femininity, but of my own as well.
This one she posted the other day, with the light emanating from the womb, is like a religious work of art.

Thank you for reposting that picture Oh. I missed that one first time around. It is truly amazing.

I think I have just about run out of ways to express what Mae brings to me personally. Absolutely beauty, talent, creativity, sexiness, sensual, artistic, heart warming, and everything about her screams erotica.

Anyone can post fuck shots......but Mae, is a goddess....and wants to please your mind..and her male counterpart......the god of erotica.....Aaron....

Two stunning, amazing, desirable, wonderful people. :rose:

What Mae is to me....

A deep question. I pondered it last night, and think I will actually have a difficult time answering that question in its entirity.

I first met Mae after having been at the Lit for the first time last summer. I had posted some pics- avoiding my face. Mae was new as well and commented on my photos, we had some great dialouge. Soon, she baegan to post. With time, I revealed more and more in my photos, as did Mae.

In a silly way, posting here has given me something positive. And my interactions with Mae have been invaluable.

She has given me support when I asked for advice, made me laugh and I have felt her sorrow at times. She has revealed her beautiful and compassionate spirit here- growing to know herself.

Her creative talent is increadible, her desire to grow and seek the world out around her inspires me to continue to do the same.

She brings out the good in people.

Thoughtful, silly, intelligent, witty, sexy, creative, spiritual- and above all, a good woman.

Mae is very much a definition of feminine strength and beauty.

Many of us will miss her presence here while she journeys to Germany. I will keep her muse with me, and post in the vain attempt to draw her back to the Lit as soon as possible.

Safe travels and best wishes Mae!

We love you here!

*tight hugs*

Beautiful woman of era, an unadulterated spirit of our minds. Nude but not naked. Loving and gentle soul to willing bear herself to any and all that wish to view her beauty. Long lost friend, memories of the one that got away all those years ago. A wisp of smoke, the scent of burning grass in spring time. The first rain of spring that washes away the stale air of winter.

Who is Mae, who is to say but brush with ones own memory.

YES!! EXACTLY!! You took the words right out of my mouth!!

I don't think I've ever felt more proud of my womanhood as I was the other day when I opened that "light emanating from the womb" picture of Mae! So Goddess like.

Mae reminds me that beauty is everywhere. It isn't just blatent nudity, it's light, form, and desert flowers.

Who is Mae......

OK, SlowHand, as long as we're quoting Ms. Mae...... "Hrm....." ;)

Wow. Why is it that when you are asked to describe someone that you think you know, you find that it's so very hard to do just that.

Mae is someone that I have had the chance to get to know and talk with. Yes, she is physically attractive, but as I've gotten to know her, I've found that her inner beauty is just as attractive if not moreso. I've been able to laugh with her, cry with her, and just be friends with her. I can't begin to describe how fun she is to just chat with and goof with...she is so ready to laugh and have a good time...and that's how I like to think of her mostly, I guess.....someone who is happy and cheerful everytime you talk with her.

Mae, thank you for being you !! :)

*hugs*

To the Muse that is Mae

After my first night reading posts I had to ask myself, "Who is this Mae?"

Everyone was leaving little comments for her, trying to draw her back to the boards. But there was no response. I think there may have even been a thread specifically about getting her back. I did a search, started reading her posts and I still couldn't figure it out until I realized I was missing a big part of 'What is Mae'. You see, a Troll had made her remove her pictures. Huh?!? What world did this chick live in? A Troll?? I was so clueless but by then, I was soooo hooked. I had to understand who this mystery woman was. Even then, after reading old edited posts, I was drawn to the flame that is Mae.

Then one day she returned. I expected a let down (I honestly did), which is often the case when something gets so built up but WOW! I was floored. Stunned. Knocked to my knees.

:rose: Mae,

You inspire me. I find your work (or rather your play) to be so amazing not only for the skill that is put into it, but because you touch so many people. Through your words and your pics, you yourself have become a muse, and that ain't easy.

Wish you all the best. Take care.

(I think I'm going to have to ask Aaron how exactly do I go about kidnapping a muse. ;) )

Well, to use Mae's famous line, "Hrm".

It is not easy, to lure the muse away from Mae took some planning. I used a machine that eminates the siren song of Mae. and since she was away, her muse came looking for her. Unfortunately, it was a trap and I was waiting.

*POUNCE*

Hehe.

The siren song is similar to a Duck Call, and you can find them at most erotic retail hunting stores. The sound creates a strong emotional pull for the muse to seek out the respective human and give them inspiration. Unbeknowst to the muse it was a trap. She is happy here, but I do plan to send her home so that Mae can continue to stun and delight the Lit Family.

*opening my arms*

The muse, like a dove, flies east in search of her companion.

*smile*

There isn't enough room on this page...

Mae is unbelievable, what more could I say that hasn't already been said. Whether words of encouragement, good advice, or pleasant conversation...she is a very special lady.

Oh my...

Well, ahem...I don't really know what to say in response to all your beautiful words! I wish I could truly give a huge, warm hug and kiss to each and every one of you. Reading your kind words warms my soul.

It might seem silly to some, how much I cherish many of you people here. Such a diversity, but so many GREAT folks. Playful, kind spirits. A shoulder if you need one. Celebrants in my bliss, comforters in my sorrow. I love sharing with you. I love you sharing with me! In the end, that is all that matters in our time on this earth. Money is of no import, awards and decorations may fill one's chest but not one's heart. It is that touching of another spirit that makes it all worthwhile. That I can do that through my sometimes fumbling attempts at my art is amazing to me. While I gain much from this sharing, it is also your warmth which keeps me coming back.

This place, and each of you, has been a great solace to me at times. I don't know if many could understand the things you have helped me regain, or find in the first place. This has been a part of my sometimes painful rebuilding over the last almost-year. I humbly thank you for that.

I look forward to continue my sharing once the Big Move (Tm) is completed, and I will miss you while I am gone. I'll be able to pop in from time to time to keep up with all the sexiness that's going on here! I look forward to seeing the blossoming over the spring and summer time, and certainly will look forward to the time when I can again share my Muse with you!

Oooh, and quit stealing all my hrms!! Lol, I won't have any left! I guess that is one of my trademarks, eh? The fact that I say it in conversation makes me giggle all the more at times.

I will post a few more things before I disconnect for good next week, I promise! I am trying to think of a suitable theme for my final set....I'm sure it will come to me.

Oooh, and Aaron? I don't know how pleased I am at having my siren song compared to a Duck Call! I like to think it would be a little more graceful than that! Silly man.

Thank you. Loves to you all!!

Mae
I have to admit, the photo is wonderful. Have you ever done a thread of just your pictures. Now that would be a shrine to your beauty. Both inward and out.

hi, i love mae ...think she is a nice well spoken lady ..... hugs and kisses to her...she made me feel welcome... and i love her lots for it

I don't think that there's anyone here that has seen a pic of Mae and not had their breath taken away..from her early ones in her sexy red and green, to her most recent candlelight set...i'm sure noone here would disagree that Mae is one of the most beautiful, sensual, stunning, and devine women who has graced these boards.

Always sensual, rarely graphic, always touching our souls, and always leaving us wanting more. Mae is the essence of woman that keeps us coming back for more.

We'll all miss you during your journeys, Mae, and i'm not the only one who will eagerly await your return. Safe journey, pretty lady..travel safe and come back to us soon.

Thank you,naked30, that was very sweet of you to say.

I noticed MAE before I registered here, when I was just browsing... Her pictures were stunning... but it wasn't just that.. it was the words that went with it.... it was the artistry of it all... the blending of it.. each one complimenting the other...

Since then I drop by threads of her to see the different visions of her... the diffrent themes, moods, and expressons. Watching her happy, sad, seductive, playful and everything else MAE is...

There aren't words to accurately describe MAE, she is something to be experienced and treasured... and I just want to say thank you to her.. for all the wonderful things she has found in her heart to share with us.

Bulging cheeks

"Quack, quack"

Luv ya Mae!

Sorry, I was in a silly mood when I worte that- excuse the poor judgement.

*looking out my window*

Geez, the muse is circling back

*shaking the muse call* Whoa! This thing really works!

I promise I will send her home!

Sincerest apologies *giggle*
