I just got a new client who is heavy duty into bondage. He has a collection of bondage videos and lots of bondage "stuff". His wife thinks its worth a fortune. I am clueless as to its value, and so is the other lawyer. We need an expert to value his collection. Who do I hire to do it?? I'm in S. E. Michigan. Help me out guys, please.

You guys think I'm kidding.....

I am as serious as death. I REALLY need someone to value this guys bondage collection. If you can't help, then don't. This ain't a joke!!!

Not joking, blue

I'm sure the suggestion for Hecate was a serious one. But I can't see her putting her real name to something that would end up in a court document. Why not find a store that sells this stuff (Internet search?) and contact them for an opinion on what to do?

Time to get a clue, Blue.

Misstress Hecate is heavily into the bondage scene, her input would greatly raise your *cough* knowledge on the subject. Great suggestion, Sonora.

Marv Albert and his toupee are both into bondage, and biting, so they might help. Call NBC, they might give you his agent's phone number if you wave enough money (I'm guessing $1.87 might do at this point). You're a devil, R Nitelight.

CL more than likely sent you very helpful missives, pay close fucking attention. I wanna be like CL when I grow up, truly.

Chill out, get perspective, stop rushing through life, and so forth. Open your mind and ignore the real shits. Don't bite the hands that reach out to help!

If all else fails, call Raul Felder's office and be prepared to bill your client and/or her soon to be ex through the nose for the consultation fees.

That is all!

Sic 'em YardBird!

F Blue:

Are you serious. Issues about value of assets (whether they are videos or not) tend to do with having appraisals. Are their children involved? That would involve custody issues and that could be a problem.....no matter how innocent, peoples diversions come into play. Are you serious about your inquirey into how much a bondage video collection could be valued at? Just wondering?

Boo

Let's try this again, okay.

I need somebody in the Detroit metro area to value a bondage collection in a divorce case. For real!! if you can help, please do.

Muchas gracias,

blue

I used to temp for an insurance compay one time and the way they went about valuing somr thing was to find out it's replacement cost and use that to draw up a plan.
Yuo'v got the net and you can use that to work out what this stuff is worth but you need to get a list of exactly this guy has and then you can work out the replacement cost.

sorry if this ramble's a bit but it's late here.

Good lord, your posts just keep getting hung up between dumb and stupid. If you really are a lawyer, go back and find out how things work.

Thank you all...

for your helpful replies. To Nogard, read my email. I think that should prove helpful for you.

Although I have a pretty big house ...

and a large screen tv, it would never hold the crowd that would likely gather if I was to hold a bondage film fest. I was thinking of the Siverdome, but the coppers closed down a rap group that displayed their videos on the screens. That leaves only one place. We'll do it at Thor's house.
Now, which of you is going to tell him. I'm sorry, but I won't be there since I'm just not into bondage and cleaning up after large parties.

Oh, Nitelight, what a great comment about the popcorn. Cracked me up.

LMAO!

Hmmmmmm. Well since Thor and Savage Kitten are trampling through my livingroom on the SRP BB and I never signed the consent form, I say you can use "my house". ;)
