Who is the biggest golf fan?

I dare anyone to try watching golf stoned. Just once, that's all it takes. You will never be the same.

Who is the biggest golf fan?

I'm guessing Tiger Palmer.

Me. I spent the whole day watching the Masters tournament while feeling very depressed that my back spasms are now well into their third day and I can't go out and play a round or even practice.

I had committed myself to a new fitness plan at the health club and had lost 25 pounds. Things were looking up. My back was feeling much better, but now I'm back where I started if not worse, and I don't know why or how this happened.

The whole point was to be able to play golf pain free. Now I can't even watch it pain free.:mad::mad:

I can certainly sympathize about the back pain. I hurt mine 5 weeks ago. I foolishly stood up from my chair, then recklessly turned to my right. What was I thinking?!?

It will seem to get better, then be worse for no better reason than the original injury. Maddening.

The person who figures out how to actually fix back injuries is going to make more money than Bill Gates.

Exactly. There are people who would think you're exaggerating, but a near debilitating injury can happen that easily. It defies rational belief.

The person who figures out how to actually fix back injuries is going to make more money than Bill Gates.

And he'll deserve every penny.

I read an article where they conjectured that there was no actual damage, it was nerves misfiring.

Hard to imagine it hurts that bad without any actual damage.

It's sure fucking up my workout schedule. How can you exercise without moving?

I'm not a fan. I've played maybe two dozen times....usually in guys and dolls tournaments for charity stuff with Rotary, etc. My brother in law is to blame as he's a golf pro and he likes abusing his family privileges.

Sounds like time for physio.

I used to play several rounds a week. For the past couple of years though, it's been a couple of rounds a month. All my golf buddies either got married or got a job. Pretty rude of them...

I like to watch it on tv as background noise.

Sounds like time for physio.

Previous treatment from my regular GP, four different PTs, one pain management doctor and consults from an orthopedic surgeon and neurosurgeon.

My healthcare providers could form an alumni association.
