As the title reads is there a specific moderator for this, as an aside how many publish and edit the stories? I wrote story and can't face the month long wait for it to be corrected.

If you mean re submitting after an edit, there is no fast track. If you mean you want a volunteer editor to look over your story, then that can take a while depending on who that editor is, and it still needs re submitting in the normal way.

Thanks yes i did mean the first, its fucking torture looking at your work and its mistakes and not being able to correct them for days weeks etc whilst watching the rating undergo China Syndrome.

regards.

There's only one editor who reviews all submissions and edits. That's Laurel, the site owner.

Edits are given the lowest priority, presumably to encourage writers to do their best the first time around and lighten her workload.

If it's still pending, you can correct the errors in the story box, but doing so will push your story back to the back of the line, so it will take even longer to publish.

Or you can wait until it's published, then go to the New Story icon, paste it in, make the corrections, and submit it as Story EDITED. Laurel will know that it's simply an edit of an existing story. Probably include a not to Laurel and Manu saying something like "Thank you for approving this story. I caught a couple of typos (or whatever) that I hadn't caught before publication. I am resubmitting to edit them out."
