...and why do I keep getting his/her emails?


I get up to 10 spam emails a day addressed to Krian. Krian apparently needs a longer, thicker (insert prick or synoym interspersed with * or other non-alpha characters); breast enhancement; fat reduction; increased appeal for women/men; his/her bank account has been suspended because of security problems (enter account number and pin on this link to reactivate); could help Nigerian/Serbian/other nationality's widow retrieve millions of dollars locked in Swiss bank account/buried in cellar of family home/hidden at place on treasure map; needs companionship/friendship leading to marriage with attractive Ukranian (photos supplied); etc.

Krian? Sort out your email addresses and stop using mine!

I don't know about krian, Ogg, but I received my first ever French language spam email yesterday, a gripping tale involving shady banks, cancer, deceased relatives, an inheritance, and West Africa.

Honestly, it was a high point of my day, and I left it in my inbox so I could re-read it a few more times.

I have been getting those for three years, apparently I somehow befriended several wealthy people in Africa and they remembered me when I died. Admittedly by the third one I called the number for shits and giggles

A guy did answer claiming to be an attorney. I went a long for a couple of minutes and bascially they want to dump money in your bank account minus their 40% fee. They then ask fro the SS# and check routing number.

A acquaintance of mine often hooks these idiots from Africa into thinking they've got him hooked. They often wind up reported to Spoof.
