How Is The Sweet Kitty Baby Doing?

I Have Three Shadow Cat's Who Are The OTHER Children Of The House. All Inbred ( I WAS Poor, But Responsible!) I Found Wonderful Homes For All & Kept Who I Couldn't Give Away. Still Friends With All The Other Siblings And Owners:)

My Mamma Cat Is Doing So Well With Her Training:) Soon She'll Come ALL The Way To The Park With Us!

A Greyhound, Fleshmachine?
Why Not A Whippet?

Two cats - Princess (siamese, female) and Psycho (orange tabby, male)

Their names fit them perfectly! Princess is the typical "leave me alone unless I want food" cat, while Psycho is the "living on the ragged edge of insanity" type of cat. He may also be the most lovable cat I've ever seen.

Note: SPAYED(sp?) and NEUTERED (despite my own sympathetic squeamishness)

WE HAVE.....

two cats...Mitari, a female tabby, and Cappucino, a male siamese (Guru calls him Psycho-cino). And one Cat Fish named.....MR. CATFISH. He eat goldfish that we buy, by the dozen.

Three cats, one dog, one rabbit, two kids.

Spook is the black and white Momma Kitty. She actually bathes my oldest sons forehead and straightens his hair while he watches Tv. I keep trying to tell her I am his mommy and not her and he is 13 and does not need help washing his face. She listens as well as the kids do. NOT AT ALL.

Midnite is the solid black Bitch Kitty. She only likes me. After 7 years you would think she would at least be nice to the other kitties. Nope. She guards my room and won't let anything on four legs in except the dog. (Dog chases her into the basement if she fucks with her!)

Shadow is the whimpering long haired gray Prissy cat. She sees you looking at her and rushes over as though she just knows you are dying to pet her and hold her and love on her. She is truly convinced that humans were put on this earth just to adore her. (The other two beat her up all the time!)

Portia is the Parent of all of them Dog. She has no idea she is a dog and not human. She eats vegi's and won't go out back with other dogs. She won't eat any dog food unless the cats lick the juices off it first. Hold up a carrot and she will dance in circles for it.

Hunny Bunny is the Easter bunny according to my 3 year old niece. He was supposed to only live 4 years. 6 years and counting. And talk about attitude. He opens his cage when he wants to. Throws his food bowl around when you ignore him. Flicks water out of the bowl when you pass him without stopping to pet him.

And the boys, 13 and 12 and don't even get me started on them.

OMG I LIVE IN A ZOO!!!!

I have no pets anymore.

When my ex and I split up last summer, he took 'em all.

We had a choc lab, Kane.
Two cocatiels(sp?), Rocky Miavia was mine, Stone Cold was the ex's.
Seven fish, only one (or algae eater) ever gained a name, Tiger.

i had a pet

she was a red chow chow named Sassy.
i had her put down in Jan. of this year.
when my wife and i met, she had a poodle.
when my wife (then girlfriend) and i moved in together, i introduced her to Sassy.
my wife was a little afraid of the dog and asked if she jumped up on furniture.

i told her Sassy never got on furniture in all the years i had her.
one night, my wife was playing with her poodle and called to him to come and see her if he wanted a snack.
the poodle jumped up onto her lap soon to be followed by my 70 lb chow.

My Buddy

I had a buddy
My buddy's a toad

He's kind of muddy
He's flat on the road

But he is my buddy
My buddy to stay

Until he is pulled up
And sailed away

a dog...Pepper

i've had her since i was little. she's starting to go deaf now, the poor girl. but other than that, she's very nosy and hates to be locked out of any room in the house. and when she is locked out, she whines and barks and scratches at the door till she gets in, and then she doesnt even want to stay in the room.

Bosco....Chow/Retreiver...
Cats:Earl Grey, Rudy, Atticus, Claudius, & Pumpkin.

Bosco is a total clown, hambone, and dork. He is the best dog I have ever met.

Earl Grey should have been named Eric Cartman. When he cries at me it is clearly as if he is saying "but Meoooom!" or
"Yeah I want powderdoughnut pancake suprise!"

Rudy is old and hates everyone but me, but is warming up to Earl Grey, bit by bit.

Atticus is a long legged unich bitch.

Claudius acts as though he is a Peruvian Tree Cat. (mommy made that up)

Pumpykins is the sweetest little orange cutie....

To see my precious little family you can have a peek here.... This page isn't complete and the links arn't all done, but tough. Take what you can get.

We have a dog named Kobe. Yep. It's a Lakers family over here.

:D

I have a dog named Buddy. He's the typical Retriever. Except he's too stupid to realize he's NOT a lap dog. There's nothing like being woke up in the middle of a nice nap on the sofa to a monstrosity of a dog jumping up to sleep on your stomach. Oh well, as stupid as he is, I love him to death. :)

Two cats, Cleo and her son Boris, also her other two kitten's live upstairs so I see them often and their all well.

Boris is now 6 month's old and really lively, he wakes me in the morning and lays on my bed at night.

My parents have a miniature schnauser. My mother asked me to name him a good german name and I chose Dieter. "Too German!" she shouted. She slept on it and the next day decided to call him Peter instead.

When Peter got his ears clipped, he scratched out his stitches so they had to get him this thing that looked like a lampshade for him to wear. It was this huge, funnel-shaped, white plastic gizmo that he wore around his neck with small end around his neck.

It was hilarious to see this little puppy walking around wearing a lamp shade. Even more funny, during this time he wore it, we had an ice storm. Outside when he had to go to the bathroom he would run and the lampshade would get caught in the ice and he would do flips.... heheh

Another funny thing he does is during football season I will yell F. S. U. and drag out the UUUUUUU... he howls right along in perfect tune...!!

I have pets, but no pet's. :)

Two cats who let me live with them.

Ah, since you asked...! Did you know that kittens are not born litter-trained? It's news to me! This little two-week-old bundle of joy has been peeing and pooping willy-nilly. Hard to complain too much, seeing as on Wednesday I thought he wouldn't be BREATHING today much less excreting.

He's curious and silly and loves to lay on my neck. I'm trying to wean him (early, I know, but I can't see bottle-feeding him every 3 hours for the next month), but he doesn't understand the whole drinking from a pan thing. Instead of lapping with his tongue, he sticks his whole muzzle into the pan and licks it off his whiskers.

Aiko's being very understanding about the situation. I'm able to let Colby (the kitty) run around somewhat freely without The Queen having a royal cow. She does hiss at him, but she seems more scared & curious rather than aggressive. At night and when we're out of the house, Colby stays in a large cage with blankets & a litter box(unused, unfortunately). Aiko can walk past the cage, but can't get inside, so it gives Colby a little area of his own. If anyone here has experience introducing new kittens to homes with adult cats, I'd love to hear from you...

A woman referred by my vet is supposed to call me regarding adopting the kitten. Part of me wants to find him a good home, and part of me wants him to stay in my home. Every day I fall more in love with him. As much as I've been run ragged feeding him & cleaning up his messes and making sure Aiko doesn't make a meal out of him, he's also made me very happy. It'll be tough when he leaves.

two weeks? so he's not yet 4 months in people years :)

I'm sure Aiko has conflicting emotions about a kitten so young. Colby is lucky to have such a good people mom. I think you should keep him.

Gretta: Cat, fat, white and brown like a cow
Mouse: Cat, fat, furtive and Tabby
Spud: Cat, runt, gray with a white "Hitler" mustauche, Danno's homosexual lover
Augra: Cat, loves water, Calico, walks like a crocodile
Danno: Cat, long haired, can jump three feet into the air for no reason,(He's part rabbit, I think), Spud's homosexual lover (especially on the front porch where all the neighbors can see. We call it the Spud and Danno Show).

And they were all strays!

I have (okay, well my parents have, but I still consider them mine) two retired racing greyhounds named Apollo and Indy.

Indy is the sweetest dog ever and loves everyone. He's great with babies, but he'll eat cats.

Apollo is the biggest greyhound I've ever seen in all my days of greyhound rescuing, and he's also the biggest scaredy-cat. He is absolutely terrified of everyone except members of the family, and he is especially terrified of dark-complected men and small children. Go figure.

We also have several turtles. I can never remember how many. They roam free in the garden, and as a result, a couple of new babies pop up every spring. They're great for slug and snail control.

Keisha.....Siberian Husky
Sassy......Keeshound

keisha has the attitude, shes the queen of this house, sassy is the princess.....sassy even cleans keisha's eyes and ears for her....they get along fabulously....sassy the caretaker, keisha the boss

LOL! I hadn't thought of it that way, but it's true...he is SOOO TINY! I didn't think kittens could live so young away from their kitty mamas, but I'm told that it's perfectly all right. His real mama was a youngster, and we all know how these teen moms are, lol...I don't think he'd do too well if he went back to her. When we found him, he was little more than a skeleton draped with fur - COVERED in fleas, totally anemic (they had to give him a blood transfusion). He's still really thin, but he's got a healthy appetite and I think he's out of the danger zone.

Me too, but don't tell Manu! lol He has visions of us found dead when our 80 cats decide to stage a mutiny and seize the kibble...lol...but I think two cats is a good number. More than that would be too much. I dunno how good of a mom I am...I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm playing it by ear. If I can get him to use the damn litter box, THEN I'll be full-fledged...

Oh BTW Laurel, I have a friend named Aiko, and every time you talk about your kitty I get the weirdest conflicting mental images.
