I don't have anyone on ignore. Not because of 'free speech' or any other imaginary 'inalienable right' just that I couldn't be arsed having to click on the post to read.

I don't have him on ignore. I think he's intelligent and often hilarious. He's lived a lot and has had experiences that many haven't.

Most of those who say they have you on ignore can't help responding to you anyway (forgetting they were claiming they had you on ignore). And I love it when someone does have me on ignore, because I can go on reading and posting to everything and they haven't a clue what I posted to them--until/unless they get an inkling there was something and then they roam around saying "what did he say about me?."

I have him on ignore on and off because mostly I get disgusted by his AVs. Also, when he starts too many new threads and I can see about five of his on the first page. I have others on ignore because:

1. I like to de-clutter the first page and not go on to the second page to see the new threads when I visit.

2. I seriously believe that person would have nothing to say that I would be interested in, ever - and they gross me out in some other way - usually by using a disgusting av I can't stand to look at.

3. Some I have temporarily on ignore when they whine too much in a short stretch of time.

I'm much too curious. I can easily ignore their post if that's the mood I'm in. But to think they might be posting something that would give me a good break from work and not knowing . . . too nervewracking.

No, he says funny stuff. I do get annoyed with some of the huuuge signatures, but scroll on past - usually without reading the person.

I've used ignore once, temporary at that - a few days ago when someone flooded the GB with threads.

Nope. There's only one person on my list, the poster whose name is not to be repeated. Even in his case, putting him on ignore was less about his style and content than frustration at the otherwise "normal" AH folks who just can't keep themselves from getting caught up in his spiel.

I put him on ig back when he had absolutely nothing to say except insults.

every once in a while, I empty my ig list, to see how the forum looks complete. There are three names that invariably go right back on...If I thought that jbj said anything that someone else couldn't say, I might take him off. So far? not.
