Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Would this go in Celebs due to being "fan fic", or would this go into Extreme/Non Human because of Roger?

Or, is this idea so damn stupid it doesn't matter anyway?

Really now? Was it that bad? Care to tell me in a PM what you felt the need to erase?

Well, Jessica Rabbit is the manifested desire of the male mind. Beautiful, flawless, dedicated, hot, and can't get old! As it were, I think many people on this board are of age where this was their favorite childhood movie for a long time. So to read about the characters getting it on would be ackward to say the least.

That being said, I would think it would be thrown in Celebrities to keep Disney's lawyer pack at bay. :) Maybe you could have the 'unedited' version of the story where instead of playing patty-cake, Ms. Rabbit and Mr. Acme play a game of nookie instead.

It would better explain Roger's downtroden reaction, as well as him resorting to the bottle. :)

It might, being based on a Disney flick, get turned down for the site altogether. I submitted a couple of stories based on Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and Hunchback of Notre Dame, and both were rejected for Disney reasons.

But if you do post it, share a link, 'cause I'll want to read it!

back from vacation and playing catch-up!

I'll just add this again... My story about Winnie the Pooh and Tigger wasn't rejected.

And, I know there's debate on who "owns" Pooh, etc., but Who Framed Roger Rabbit was not 100% Disney. There were Warner Bros. cartoons and others that weren't either Dis or WB.

Very true. Many studios had a hand in contributing their characters. Woody Woodpecker was in there - at the end at least with that goofy laugh of his.

However, I think legally it is Disney's - or at least Buena Vista's (a subsidary of Disney's - or at least in cahoots with). Hence why Tinkerbell closes the movie, Roger Rabbit merchandise in Disney World, among other Disney-related tie-ins. The movie itself might not be entirely Disney's but the characters are anyway. (Do correct me if I'm wrong)

On that note, it would be a daunting task to tackle, I think. Keeping the character's in check as well as the tinseltown atmosphere of the thirties/forties. The dialouge, mannerisms. Not easy to do a good job of at least. Just writing quick fluff about the detective boning Jessica or his girlfiend in the movie would be too easy.

But I ramble too much.

the Bob Hoskins ? Jessica sex could go in Celebrities, but Rogetr/ Jessica would be non-human. I agree Jessica is hot, and iconic, therefore well worth writing about.
