~just this one girl's opinion~

I’m thinking that they are mostly made up of the people here who register.

Most trolls seem to pay a lot of attention and have some data that proves they didn't just come in yesterday...and start talking shit.

They are part of the community as a whole…
Can’t pick and choose who lives in your town.

Now I hear most everyone say that they would simply never ever do such a thing..

Okay fine.

I do believe most people are truly good at heart..
Most wouldn’t say things designed specifically to harm another human being.

But really..
Do you really think the majority of these trolls never register…while they sit around gathering data to use as a weapon?

I don’t think calling the trolls names like “fucktard” solves anything.
A troll says their crap and then people begin name calling the coward.

Yet that method hasn’t proven to work in the least.

Why?

Because the trolls are part of the community..and I’d go so far to say that 80% of them have their other personas to “protect.”

The trolls are people in line next to you..

Kinda creepy, huh?

It is kind of unnerving knowing that someone who may be your friend.. someone you confide in, may be a troll. I think shit stirrers should just post under their own name (why do they think their point/ opinion is any more valid as posted anonymously?).. but i'm not too concerned about it. All I have to say is karma's a bitch, what comes around goes around and if they're gonna be two-faced backstabbers, then I hope they get what's coming to them.

I try to live by my sig line (no, not the fishie one.. tho I do loves her ;)) but:

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. (or in other words, no one can hurt you unless you let them)

There is no point in responding to the trollish posts, it just feeds the fire.

Not all unregistereds are trolls, and not all trolls are unregistered.

A troll, IMHO, is someone who does not have the best interest of the board and the people on it at heart.

There are registered trolls.

Indeed, I remember a while back when a registered troll was using Laurel's av.

There is no way of stoping those damn, distastful trolls, so just don't let 'em get to ya'.

Well, it's pretty obvious that my troll is a regular member of the board. She has knowledge of everything I've ever posted it seems.

I think she really has a hard on for me. :)

Hey! I represent, er, resent that remark!

i think sometimes i can guess who the trolls are but i would never say those things allowed because i could be wrong and by saying those things i would be trolling

also would like to say trolls maybe be registered members on here too but they wouldnt be you're friends if they were trolling you they would probably be a registered member that didnt like you anyway

its probably good in a way that people can log out and troll otherwise those nasty things would never be said by those people that didnt like you ... and well i kind of find that even more creepy ... i prefer things out in the open ... although if i ever did have something bad to say about someone i would say it with my own nick

Yeah Laurel, I agree.

It’s like pissing in your own water supply…

Ruby, see that must give you the creeps…I’ve watched your troll(s) at work.
It’s easy to know what people type around here, but to use it against someone just to be a judgmental holier-than-thou type of human is amazing.

Do humans ever get out of the 8th grade?

I think a few trolls are regular registered posters, who don't have the courage to post opinions under their registered names.
Then you have unregistered trolls. I don't think either serve any purpose other than to slander someone or stir the shit.

There's a couple of trolls that post here and add humor to the board. *those trolls are rare*

Weird though..how trolls select "certain" people...to fester upon.

Some people seem to have a troll magnet attached to their ass, while others never have to know what it feels like to be attacked anonymously.

Why do the trolls always act holier-than-thou while they found this place and decided it was a place to hang their hats?

To anyone who has decided to hurt people for fun:
(troll~babies, you know who you are)

So someone has extra curricular activities outside their marriage.
So someone has decided to be honest about their lives for you to read.
So someone has decided to be human….

What’s your damage…?

Is your life totally affected by another human’s thought and capabilities?

Can you not take another breath until you’ve made someone feel bad for being themselves?

Can you not see that judging people..you’ve made yourself incapable of growth?

Hello?
Think of your own enlightenment…alright?

You make some VERY good points...and I have one of them there magnets attached to MY ass...but it seems to be demagnetized for right this second. Now I just get the registered members posting snide remarks...at least I can put a face to those names and then ignore them happily. :p

kashmir, I agree with your sentiments completely. Unfortunately, the people who troll probably have some very serious psychological problems that neither you or I can address properly.

Lack of maturity? Absolutely.

Anger and/or unhappiness with their lives? Umhmm.

I've given this a lot of thought, since I've been trolled fairly regularly on this board. I still don't understand it, I'll be honest. I've never felt the need to hide behind my opinions. But the thing is, the stuff trolls say (for the most part) isn't anything anybody would actually say publicly. These people have hate in their hearts and need to let it out somehow.

As to why certain people get trolled? Because we open ourselves up and give them ammunition. Something I'm going to try very hard not to do in the future. It's hard for me, because it's my nature to be open and frank. But I'm going to work on it.

Ruby~

Please..please don't censor yourself based upon other human’s inert need to be hurtful…

It's *exactly* what they want!

What if the Troll is just jealous?

Suppose Rubie's Troll is hot for Rick & PC, but Ruby gets all their attention anytime she's onboard.

If that makes the Troll jealous enough to act out, "she" gets rewarded by becoming the center of the guys attention.

Plausible?

Killer troll

Ruby and others who have been trolled...

Pretty obviously these trolls are jealous and they are enjoying making you uncomfortable. You are comfortable with yourself and it shows. This makes persons with lower self esteem uncomfortable and they have to find a way to rag on you to make themselves feel better. Don't change an ounce of your style or your directness to accomodate their preditory behaviour. Do not give them the satisfaction of being one whit less than yourself as you have always been. The troll needs to grow the fuck up and realise that this isn't high school. There is a very old and somewhat tired cliche that is strangely appropriate. If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all. If I have a problem with someone, if I am *gasp* jealous or angry at someone, then I can exercise my right of mouse. I don't click on their posts, and I don't respond to their threads. I think the main reason people troll is because they want attention be it negative or positive. They feel they can't get attention through positive means so they use negative ones. Never give a troll an ounce of attention. Don't respond, don't debate and don't offer an ass kicking. Again, exercise the right of mouse, laugh it off, click elsewhere.
The only way, as was said above, they can hurt you is if you let them.

now back to your regularly scheduled lunacy....:)

Within the human psyche, patient….all things are indeed plausible.

Jealously..
Righteousness…
Envy…

Wow, troll babies…you are like a self-appointed God and you’re getting the word out on how sin is really bad.

Good for you…

Feel better about feeling human emotions.. yourself?
Feel better about your judgement on other human animals?
Feel better about yourself altogether?

Good….
What?
Oh..you need to throw another stone through your own glass house?

It’s okay, we understand…

(pats little troll babies on the back and whispers to them that it's okay to fucking feel like an animal of the human kind)

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz what? kr1troll sniffs the air. nope air still smell sweet. going back to sleep!zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

well I THINK

I havent been here for very long but I think alot of people drift in and out and TROLL Unlisted. The ones that know so much about a certain person I believe are members here and choose to troll unlisted when they want to be mean to others.

Maybe not but thats my read...
