Canada has post secondary publically funded not for profit colleges. We differentiate between college and university and for-profit colleges. For-profit colleges are few in number up here. Publically funded colleges are the rule with diplomas offered in far greater fields than for-profits ones.

Have a few friends who have dome university and college and they all admit that college has far greater real world applications than university.

I always take web personal details with a grain of salt. A very well educated mix.

You hear reports of youth just out of university having to take low paying jobs because of a lack of jobs in their field. And that the trades are short handed. Numbers here show that. The job market is flooded with highly educated university types and dry of tradespersons.

Even master plumbers making 80k+ want their kids to go to university.
