who all are willing to host?

hi guys,

this idea just came to me. i am sure a quite a few of us would be travelling locally or internationally every now and then.

what if someone in a particular city is interested in hosting people of their choice wherein the arrangement could be mutual and not necessarily rent.

if some of us are keen, why don't we post the following:

for the hosts

1. who you are and who all stay with you
2. who are you looking for
3. what are the services on offer

for the travellers:

1. who you are and which cities/countries you travel to
2. who would you prefer as a host

any other info if it will help will be cool too.

for the sake of safety, privacy . members should be open to interacting a bit before they meet so that they can make more of an informed decision.

please post some details if you are interested.

Yup. That's what I have proposed. Not claiming the idea is original but this what couch surfing is about.

I do agree that a lot of people like to have discreet fun here and that it could be scary for a few. But I don't agree this would be a desperate measure. It's more of an adventure.

Definitely not for everyone and I respect the above comments. Just wanted to share this idea and see what you guys have to say and see who might want to go for it.
