Forecasted to get somewhere between 16 and 24 inches here in the next 30 hours or so. Loving it.

Happy showshoeing to everyone.

NYC's going to get 2-4 inches of rain!

I'm dreaming of a wet Christmas.....................

Rain will not cut it up here. Im counting on snow, significant amounts of powdery snow. It calls for massive snowbanks, all night plowing sessions, and big clunking winter boots.

If it rains you all have my permission to have another tall glass of eggnog.

Ha! La Vegas, NV has a 30% chance of precipitation today witha very slight possibilityof getting 30 FEET of snow!

That's one snowflake every 30 feet

On a related note. Vermont has a 1% chance of gambling, entertainment, bright lights, and pretty women. 99% chance of cows, flannel, trees, and dirt roads.

WH, Best wishes to you and your daughters.

The Cape is just going to get rain. We ALWAYS get rain. lol I'd love a white Christmas just once though.

Mouse, You know I am from up there, and you know that I am jealous of you guys.

I was talking to my best friend in NH and she said that news people are pussyfooting around with giving estimates. This was yesterday though.

Well, I hope you enjoy it for the both of us, because we are getting jipped here I think, but who knows.

Merry Christmas buddy, and happy hunkering down for a long winters nap man.

Fishstick,

yeah, the estimates are a bit scattershot but int eh elevated part of Vermont its calling for serious snowfall. Well Im in the elevated part so Im stoked.

Merry Xmas to you Ms. Starfish. Lick and suck on some fruitcake for me. I'll toss a snowball for ya.

lol, so true.

So, that's where my snow is. I must inform Cheyenne of this. We have been wondering where the snow is. You are getting my winter wonderland, I have been wishing for all week.

The sun is shining brightly, holidays on the West Coast. Sigh..

Okay, mouse. Quit hogging all the white stuff!

On the other hand, I can go to church tonight in normal shoes instead of my big heavy snowboots. :)

I'm an hour and a half north of Burlington, VT. and praying we get the snow here!

Hope you have a very merry white Christmas MM!

Summery and Cheyenne, both of you are more than welcome to spend the Holiday at my place. I'll make biscuits even. In the event that you cant make it; Ill save a piece of pie for you.

K-man, No wise-ass comments. Where is your Xmas spirit? Enjoy the Holiday.

roxanne, Im more southernly than Burlington but as far as I am concerned you're in my neck of the woods. Enjoy the snow, I'll try to blow some up your way. Merry Xmas.

Sorry, it started out fine last night about midnight, big fluffy flakes falling. Then by 1:00 AM changed to freezing rain, and all today, it's just been straight rain. Just a little powder envy. Merry C'mas to you too, Mouzer.

Ditto here in Philly.

We have something like a 30% chance of snow but it's just too damn warm outside.

10"-15" expect just north of Boston and up to thirty outside route 495. I guess I might not have to drive to my sister's house for Christmas dinner after all.:D Ahhhh, extra sleep.:D
Take Care,
Ezarc

It's comming down in big wet clumps right now in the south east (Canada ;)). It's not sticking, wich suits me fine because I've never had to drive in it before, and I have to go out tomorrow. There's a lot of it though . . . tomorrow looks worrying.

I tried to book a flight, I have been denied! That predictable late night fog will keep me grounded. However, we have snow flurries in our forecast for tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Hmm...what kind of pie, MM?:)

ONly a couple of inches here in Mid Michigan.

No offence MM but you can keep the snow up there :p

Bonne Noel everyone.
