The strike was confirmed by Israeli officials who said the country's air force targeted a shipment of "game changing" weapons bound for the Lebanese militant Hezbollah group.

Why the hell would Assad care? H'zbollah controlled area was pretty much a no-go zone for Syria's military before the Jihad turned on him. They were most likely going to be used against him. He is probably relieved...
