Just because chyoo has a special "where do I go?" feeling. There's always the possibility that something will happen that the original author did not intend.
In my own stories, even though I often tend to have "my own" storyline, I don't really know where exactly it is going. It's always possible that somebody will come along and add a thread to it that will cause me to shift from my previous train of thoughts.
Similarly, when I read a chyoo story, I might not like where a given author is going. There's always the chance that another author will come along and "set things right". If not, I can always do it myself.
Lilguy,
I am flattered that you enjoy my spy story, A.K.A. Secret Agent, Sarah Banks. Or is it A Lost Identity: Sex Fugitive? (Links are below for all! =) Yes that was a plug.
On to the real topic now...
I agree with Bunga 100%, a chyoo story is unique. Lit stories are great too. But with Lit, no matter how many times you read the same story it will always be the same. With chyoo it's a different experience every time. What could be better than 100 stories in 1? Nothing! Well unless it was audio and by a sexy voiced woman... Lit has those by the way.
I think a lit story should be it's own story. BUT, if you are talking about Secret Agent, Sarah Banks than you will know that it is based off a straight path... a linear story. And it is considered College Girl To Be 2. I used one single path and summed up about 10 threads into 450 words, basically creating a lit style story. Enough of this history lesson... go read some smut already!
I've been tempted to turn my stuff from Graduation Night into a lit story. I'm also tempted to turn some of the ideas I've had for Secret Agent into a story.
