Hey guys, had some story ideas rattling around my head and wanted to ask which I should make into a full story, since I'm having trouble deciding myself.

Hope you guys like at least one of these ideas, let me know which one I should write. Also, if you have anything you would want to add or see in any of these stories send me a PM. I love logging on and seeing I've received a message!!!

I think it's totally up to you and you should write whatever turns you on and interests you the most. I'd personally pick 3, because it's about somebody exploring something for the first time.

Eew! I don't think you should write any of those. But then, you shouldn't be asking me either.

Write what you want. Write all of them if you want. It's not like we're limited to 1-story per writer.

As Not Wise says: write what you want. I wouldn't read any of them. But I'm not your readership. :)

The question is not "Which should I write?"

The right question is "In what order?" ;)

Number one sounds like the Guy Fawkes plot, At that time, very unusually even then, Guy Fawkes was tortured on the rack to give the names of his associates in the plot.

Despite myths, torture was not a usual method at the time. It was only used because the other plotters were unknown and still an imminent threat.

PS. But I agree with TadOverdon. Write them all but I think they would have a limited audience.

Every writer has a limited audience.

Doubly true for writing about kinky sex.

I would be really interested to read stories based on the last three ideas, especially the last one.

First one doesn't really appeal to me. When you say 'queen', I can only think of Queen of England. But is the story set in 2022 or in the 1950s? Or is it a fictional kingdom with a fictional queen? I might read the story if the queen is hot enough.

Depends how you do them.
'Surprise!' is too close to non-consent for my personal taste. I could potentially enjoy any of them, but style is more important to me than activity. If they pay attention to the thoughts and motivations of the characters, I might like them, if they're just A does X to B, then I probably won't like the story even if I enjoy X myself.

All have merit, but if you want an easy starter - go with 4. IMHO...

I'm going for number 4 too. Just happens that I'm working on one very similar — except the foolish husband failed to logout of Literotica and his wife followed his bread crumbs around. Poor guy ends up going to a "sex counselor" who happens to be a quack who specializes in "gay aversion therapy". The treatment is that the doc performs all manner of sexual acts on the guy — which of course only ends up with them both having a good time. This is obviously a humor/satire story attempt.

Starting to think they should change the name of the forum from Author's Hangout to "please tell me what I should do, or what so you think works best" forum.

Just write the fucking story/stories

I don't think you're wrong in noticing a change in the air. My take is the large number of new members, possibly COVID quarantine boredom, who have joined LitE in the last couple of years. Obviously, after being onboard awhile, the itch to try this erotic fiction writing thing needs to be scratched. Thus, all the new folks asking the same questions many of us asked many years ago.

Yet, there are also a lot of questions posed by old-timers too. I don't think it's such a terrible thing to do. It does seem that a forum dedicated to writing stories for LitE is a legitimate place to ask such questions. No one is forced to provide any answers, and it has to be conceded that in many instances a good and beneficial conversation is started. Why have a discussion forum where discussion is prohibited

I can't imagine asking others what I should write. Or what a character should say. Or how they should say it. If I can't work out things like that for myself, I should take up auto electrical work or brain surgery. But that's just me. :)

Not just you, Sam. I too thought it an odd thing to ask. Writing by committee... would get you a horse's arse rather than a camel toe, I'd have thought.

But hey, that's just me. Wait, didn't you just say that? :)

'A horse's arse rather than a camel toe?' I like that. Well done, that boy. :D

I've written stories that were commissions and very much enjoyed the experience. The results were quite successful in my view and that of quite a few others. Of course if the idea hadn't appealed I wouldn't have done it.

Also, I frequently write with a co-author and those are, I believe, better stories than either of us writing solo. Think of Lennon and McCartney-neither as solo artists equalled what they did together (McCartney came closer, but still did not).

Taking a poll is another matter, though.

Well, the OP isn't really asking folks to suggest or tell them what to write, are they? Sounds like they've got a handful of ideas already and like all of them. They're just curious about which one arouses the most interest from other people.

Having a lot of ideas that you'd like to pursue and not enough time is the right kind of problem to have. :D
