I'm writing a story at the moment, it is primarily a fetish story but with quite a bit of incest and discussion of incest.

Which category should it go in? Incest/Taboo or Fetish?

If incest is the major theme then it goes there. I've thrown incestuous hookups into other categories with no problem. Mention in your Author's Forward that kin will fuck -- that absolves you.

The OP was asking incest or fetish in which case Incest is the trump category.

If it's Brother/brother father/son I think you're screwed in either GM or incest. But that's a guess, I've never tried.

Yes, but you didn't limit your response to that, so it was misleading. I repeat (including in response to Hypoxia) that if you put a gay male story in Incest (or Loving Wives), you will be ripped apart (not to mention that every time I've tried, Laurel has put the story in GM). Incest does not trump Gay Male--even if the gay male aspect isn't the major one. How many gay male stories of any mix of categories have you or Hypoxia submitted to Lit.?

IIRC one TASTE OF INCEST, a few RON'S JOURNAL, and two DEXTEROUS DEXTER (Group Sex) episodes have explicit MM contact. The guy stuff isn't the major theme so they are where they are.

I didn't have to detail what trumps what in every circumstance, I answered the particular example. Fetish or incest? The answer is incest.

Gay male is not part of this conversation other then you trying to make it that way so you can do what you just did "How many GM stories have you written" to set up your next post of "I have 700 GM stories I"m always on the GM popular list"

I'd still go with incest, because most people are offended by incest anywhere out of its category and will hit you with a one for sticking it where they feel it doesn't belong.

As for Girl on Girl its a double standard, seems you can put lesbian sex anywhere as opposed to gay or bi males which freak people out.

One warning incest readers don't always respond well to additional kinks other than incest so you might get a few troll comments or a lower score, but you are still better off there.
