Which category to post story in?

Hey, noob (to this site) here. I have an adultery story I intend posting and I was wondering where to put it. From what I've read on forum it seems Loving Wives which would be the logical category to place it in is a minefield. My story isn't cuck fetish nor is it a hubby revenge tale but a cheating wife is the main character. I'm afraid neither of those attitudes here will like as it doesn't reflect their worldview. Would it be acceptable to place in erotic couplings instead?

If Lit had an adultery category that would be ideal but since they don't what do you more experienced types think? An aside, what if someone has a story where a husband cheats but with an unmarried woman. That wouldn't work in loving wives I'm thinking. Well thank you in advance to any that reply.

Most anything heterosexual and one-on-one can go to Erotic Couplings. I did post a story there in which the main character was a married woman who cheated with another woman. It wasn't very well received, but there could be several reasons for that other than being inappropriate for the category.

It seems like stories in EC haven't been scored very well for the last few months. If your skin is thick enough then you might get a bigger response out of LW and about the same score.

Who do you write for? For yourself, or for a mixed bag of readers, or a certain audience, or... ?? How sensitive are you to criticism? How anxious are you for good reviews? Do you care how many read it, i.e. do you want to grab eyeballs?

The most-read categories are Incest and LW, so if eyeball-grabbing (regardless of response) is your goal, those are where to post. LW: X cheats. Incest: X cheats with their sibling Y. If you want high scores and not much negative reaction, go for Group -- W cheats with X, Y, and Z simultaneously. Or go for romance: X cheats only after a long, languorous seduction.

You could go IR (interracial): X takes one or more BBCs (big black cocks). Or LACs (long Asian cocks). Or RTCs (runty Tasmanian cocks) skilfully applied. Go SciFi/Fantasy: X cheats with alien(s) or unicorn(s) or robot(s). Try Fetish: X doesn't exactly cheat but gets her toes sucked by a pervy shoe salesperson.

None of this applies if you write for yourself. Post wherever you want and watch the shit fly.
