Which category do you pick?

I think there should be a new category (well several categories) but basically any category with the word clown added.

Clown incest.
Clown BDSM
Clown non-consent
Loving Clowns
Gay clowns
Interacial clowns.

ETA (misquoting Seinfeld) I'm not tying him up for sex, the man's a clown.

I'm so sorry I brought up the clowns. :D

Oh god............... OH GOD.............. I'm so sorry for bringing up the clowns in the other thread >_<
*dies*

What about stories that incorporate heterosexual AND lesbian relations? I'd probably throw it in Erotic Couplings, barring any of the other dominant categories making a showing. People looking for heterosexual-themed stories probably wouldn't be too off-put by coming across lesbian-themed material (much like in visual porn, as 3113 pointed out). Slipping gay-themed material in the mix, on the other hand, would be a good way to get death threats.

Which is actually a damned shame. As I pointed out in Bells the entire division of het vs. hom is artificial. Go back and do some research into the practices of Classical Civilization and you will find that the real action is "pansexual". I'll admit being a bit too old to give serious thought to changing my ways but just consider that snails have more fun than anyone, being both with each other at once together! :D And there aren't any snail clowns, either.

LOL...i don't even know how to do that =S

maybe I didn't give the best example. so anything with incest gets filed under incest, but what if a story is half erotic coupling, half non-consent/reluctance? i'm very new to writing and posting on literotica, so i may seem like a retarded five year old, but i'm not haha.

There are so many E/V stories that nothing is put there if it can go somewhere else. The example you give would go to non-com.

If more than two people are involved, it wouldn't go into E/V. It might go into group, or it might fo somewhere else, depending on how prevalent everything is. Group sex, with two women getting it on together is not uncommon.

Hey, I'm Liz. How do you know into which category your story falls? If there is a story about a father walking in on his daughter and her girlfriend fucking in costumes, and the father joins, what category is that? Incest? Lesbian? Costumes? How do you know? Or is it "use your best judgment"? Thank you.
The "Squick Factor" rankings have been pretty much covered, but that still leaves a LOT of unanswered room to your question.

If you don't have any of the common squick factors but you do have a wide variety of sexual activity going on, go with the general thrust of the story arc -- or throw in a few gratuitious jokes and dump it in the humor category. :p

I was thinking more of different scenarios at different points in the story.
