How do I find out why a story I posted two weeks ago hasn't appeared, nor any rejection sent to me?

If you know what I mean by "your Submissions page" then you can check under "view" for the record of the submission.
If it says Pending, then it's really in there, all is well, and you ought top let it alone for a few days.
Check the New Stories listings on the Index page instead, since they tell me checking the submission all the time resets it to the end of the line.
If it says something else besides Pending, then you might click on the colored words, which may be rejected or not yet submitted or something negative like that. The colored words areew a link to an explanation. If you are rejected for capitalization, grammar, or content issues, a page explaining the problem will appear.
Pending is good news, though. All you can do is chill and wait. My sympathies.
I submitted one and saw NO entry whatsoever in my submissions page, yet it went up anyway. Weird but true, and not three weeks ago, either.
