i have NO clue where this belongs, but does anyone know where i can get some lesbian pictures with getting viruses, bad pop-ups.

uh....lol...well for one..do you have something called ad-aware installed? it'll help reduce spyware and pop ups, it's a free anti spy scanner or spy bot works fine...gl :p

try fionas.com or fionas.net

and use firefox with its popup blockers built in

You may want to post in the Gay and Lesbian Section.

As for adware/spyware, there are plenty of versions out there, and I believe Microsoft has a malware add-on in the windows update section.

Honestly though, if you're downloading porn from the net you should always have a good anti-virus software running (McAfee, Norton, TrendMicro, etc) and one or two adware applications (Spybot, AdAware, etc).

You can try www.tucows.com if you want to look and see about some free versions, though they usually aren't as good as the paid for ones (which you can also find there).

Good luck :)

first, Never download anything to your computer, nor ever press accept to anything that pops up from any selection.

second, browse free porn sights that have 'mass links' much like Alexmovies.com or extremeapril.com.

third, if clicking on a link doesnt bring up something that looks like what was discribed before clicking the link. X it out.

most viruses are contracted when you roam around porno. for instance, you click on 'free female pics' then it pops up another list, then click one there, then it pops up a list with photos, then press again, then it pops up a diffrent list with more links. going through that sequence makes your computer more subseptable to virus.

it is easyer if you find one primary sight. usualy best if they are a prime list sight (mostly for free demos - pics and 15 second clips) then only branch out through 3 or 4 selections. if it has more than 4 pop up windows then x it out. this sugnificantly lowers your chance of catching one, even if you have little to no virus protection.

best anti virus would be nortons but that is generaly 4 steps behind most modern viruses, other than that, any of the free 'ad-aware' programs will help 'clean' up your computer if you scan every once and a while.

And the best solution is to use an OS that doesn't get spyware/malware/etc, like linux. No 3 day long cleanups of crap :)

Good luck with the 3some ;)

when it comes down to it, nothing will block spyware, adware, viruses or anything malicious 100% (whoever does create something that does this will be a rich man) considering there are new malicious items coming out on the internet EVERY day and they know how to beat alot of the top protection that is out there. You can download stuff to your computer, but only from sites that you know and trust. Popups are one of the top places that spyware, etc gets onto your computer. You don't have to goto a porn site to get it...you can get spyware and such just by visiting CNN.com and MSNBC to read the daily news, as hackers and whomever create the spyware, etc, attach their programs to the popups without anyone ever even knowing until it's too late and it's infected tons of people.

Ad-aware is good, so is eTrust PestPatrol, as well as having Mcafee or Norton Internet Security installed, with a subscription to receive updates to the software to give you the most up to date protection. Both Mcafee and Norton have popup blockers available, but Mozilla browser does me good (can't stand using IE anymore) as it has a pretty good popup blocker on it, in addition to the one that Yahoo has in their task bar you can install.

Bottom line, regardless of what you have as far as protection on your system, it will only protect you from KNOWN issues....as quick as Symantech (parent of Norton), Mcafee and other security companies find a way to block something, something new has started infecting people - I always used to tell customers that would call in before I got laid off (job went to the phillipines) that Mcafee and Symantech are a ways behind the actual hackers just because there are so many hackers out there (whether they work for Mcafee, Norton or even Microsoft to guarantee business) creating malicious software.

Gotta love the internet LOL

Try here...

http://www.book-mark.net/mark.html

a quite reliable place and you never need to join anything...

As far as Pop Ups and Pop Unders go, simply acquire a program called Pop Up Cop and install it... it is very scalable and works very well.... I never have to deal with any pop ups at all.... here is a link for the program....

http://www.popupcop.com/

As for the antivirus programs... the free AVG is good and will protect you against almost anything out there altho keiffers is right when he says there are people out there creating new stuff every day... you do need to be on top of it and set a schedule for almost daily updates and scans.... I also highly recommed staying away form Norton... it is a bloated resource hogging program with many conflicts... if you want to purchase a Antivirus program, get NOD32..... it is a very effective and good program... here is the link for NOD32....

http://www.eset.com/home/home.htm

Lavasoft's Ad-Aware is the best free anti-spyware out there as well.... you can get it at this link...

http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10399602.html

And a little clarification on the creation of Norton... it was not "created" by Symantec... but by Peter Norton (a long time ago). Symantec ultimatly acquired Norton and continues to use the name for the Home versions of the software while the Symantec label is aimed at the corporate versions.
You can read more about Peter Norton here....

on that basis you should stay away from Microsoft as well (sarcasm), since all of the office software are huge memory hogs as well and Windows has tons of conflicts - you'll never get away from conflicts and memory issues with today's software - companies such as Symantech and Microsoft are constantly making their software like that and you'll never get away from it

the trick to having a computer that runs good is don't go and download every little game, screensaver and even smilie packs for your AOL, Yahoo and MSN messenger programs. Those 'cute' games and smilie packs are notorious for having spam, spyware and other malicious software embedded within and you don't know it until after you download and install, then reboot your system - just don't do it.

To answer the original question, www.worldsex.com is my favorite source for quality free pics--and there are archives for the lesbian pictures the OP desires.

This has also been a very informative thread on spyware etc.

Yes... you are quite right that many OS's are bloated.... however... as there are not a lot of choices, one has to do with what we have (altho I do have a Linux box as well as my 2 XP and 1 XP x64)...

For me... knowing the software quite well helps... I get to relieve a lot of the bloat by disabling many of the processes and mod'ing the registry...

Additionally.... I always load the minimum and never use any of the themes, screen savers, or sounds.... I also almost never use any sort of messanger programs or the little stuff that clogs things up over time....

The real trick to keeping the comp clean and running well is to clean up and be aware of what you are getting....

But again.... as for Norton.... since Symantec got it, they have really bloated it beyond need and turned it into a program that causes more problems than it cures.... and there are so many better options....

Why don't you guys simply get a Mac???

lol... I have one as well but it only does certain things really well... like my graphic stuff....

Dumpling, thanks! :D

keiffer/calvin/rampantlecher:

Macs are overpriced, and OSX is too limited for me.

You absolutely can stay away from MS completely, whoever thinks you can't is fooling themselves. There isn't a single MS product running in my house, and I have a tablet, laptop, handheld, sun ultra 5, 7 custom pc's, 3 laser printers, high end graphics printer, an all-in-one printer (yes all of the all-in-one works perfectly), a minidv camcorder, 3 digital cameras (2 reg digis, one SLR), my ipod, (which I'll be replacing with a Cowon A2 asap), digital picture frames, etc, etc, etc strewn about my house. All work beautifully, primarily using SUSE linux (the Ultra 5 runs Debian, and my handheld is running OpenZaurus w/ Opie).

Sure, I'm a geek. My gf isn't though - she has no problems using anything of mine, never has a question for me, and she has no clue when it comes to computers. Its just that easy.

EDIT: Btw, don't confuse the terminology. The news and movies has confused the word "hackers". "Hackers" play with source code, hardware, etc, and do something interesting. A better term for the other guys is malicious crackers, etc, but none of these other names are perfect. However, the word "hacker" being used for these guys is even worse.

well said Max.... I do agree... you can stay away from MS if you really want to but I have a hard time believeing it is as simple as you make it sound.... I too am a geek and even with my extensive knowledge I would need to dig deeper into the stuff you have mentioned.... tell me what OS's you are running on the " 7 custom PC's".... are they all Linux?... and what sort of graphic programs are you running? Are you doing any sort of 3D rendering? I would also love to know the make/model of the high end graphics printer.... I am in the market for one myself....

Calvin said:

Yup! SUSE 10.0 on 4 of them, Fedora & Gentoo on two others, and one of them is a custom built distro (working on a media center PC, little different than normal - I'm an AV consultant, so im toying around with wierd ideas)

Calvin said:

Primarily, I use the GIMP, Krita, Inkscape, etc, etc. Different app for a different purpose, like with anything.

Calvin said:

Some, but not much, so Blender is what I use, and is probably overkill for what I need :)

Epson Stylus R1800 - helluva printer, seriously. Just to give you an idea, I have over 30 different queue types set up for each type of print (not just for the Epson, mind you), so I just choose what I'm printing, no further settings need to be dealt with - everything is already tuned.

I'll also recommend Brother (I have 1) and HP (I have 2 lasers, one all-in-one, and one small photo printer) , but I love Epson's.
