Sometimes a guy is just bored. I think girls never get bored. If I had boobs, I would never get bored. Just kidding.... Wait, no I wasn't... Wait, yes I am.

Anyway when you're stuck inside or just don't have anybody right now. And don't want to spend hours at clubs and go home with someone only one out of ten times, at times like that phone sex can be fun.

But there seems to be so many more guys who clamor around so few girls that most of the guys don't get what they want and worse, the guys best at tickling the mind and touching a woman's body with words aren't the ones who are picked at random which leaves the girls who have so many to choose from with only a random sampling, never knowing what they missed.

'Seems sumptin should be done. And besides generating some really good phone sex, this could be a game for everyone to joke about the phone sex ratings too.

How about starting a thread called "phone sex anyone?" Any guy or girl who wants phone sex can post their number, gender, what gender they are looking for and one line of text to sell themselves. That way when someone is looking they can make a good call on who will be best for them and if they post their number, they are inviting to be called.

I know a lot of jerks will call too. Block their number. I don't have trouble getting someone to stop calling me. But this risk will help to keep just anybody from posting too.

But the most important thing and this will shorten the list of posters a lot. If you post a number you are not only inviting people to call but you are also consenting to being rated by anyone who calls you. Good, bad, just down right painful or OK. Maybe 1 to 10. post the name you called and what you rate him or her. Maybe any comments too.

So, if you are looking for good phone sex, scroll all the way down the thread to find whoes name is posted more often and which ones are good.

Ooooooh this could be good. The comments would be almost more interesting to read than the phone sex itself.

If anyone else agrees, this might be fun, post here, I will start the thread off with my number.

well considering the fact that you aren't allowed to post a phone # on lit, I don't see your thread idea being the way to go. Infact most people who engage in phone sex do so with someone they know, not just with a random person (I know I wouldn't like a random person I don't know having my ph #). Most people on lit come here to have fun and interact with other people they feel comfy with - if they get comfy enough after talking to someone and decide to go the phone route, then they will do so in a PM, not just post it on a thread and say 'hey here's my ph # call me and get me off'

The US is still very prudish. Most people have to deal with sex in very structured pathways. Stepping out of the routine, is very scary for people. Especially so for US woman.

Nobody likes to be told that. And everybody tries to deny it. But give them an opportunity and they will back down.

Just like phone numbers being prohibited. I mean really, if someone wants to post their number, what earthly advantage is it to the board or to any other single member of the board to deny him or her that?

The only real answer is that it is scripted behavior. Like urban myths. "Yeah and then his penis blew up after he used it. I know its true because it happened to my lawyers, nephews, baby-sitter's boyfriend."

For real. I can actually write such automated scripts and I have never done it even to people I hate. I mean there are so many other ways to treat people you don't like than that. There is no reason.

But come on. I would do that to some stranger. And the motivation was that I saw his or her number on a bulletin board. That is just fear. And that is why the first guy is right. People are just too scripted.

Look at how many responses already to just this. Imagine the responses to descriptions of phone sex and the rating.

If you really want to be afraid of something. Be afraid to post your number because you will be get a bad review. But be cool people, no body is interested in paying long distance to crank someone because they saw their number in a bulletin board.

Has nothing to do with American's being prudish or not...it's a security concern to most anyone would have at the forefront of their mind (whether they are in the US, the UK, or whereve in the world) as the fact that no matter where you put your phone # these days you end up being called by telemarketers (who are now starting to use overseas callers to do their business for them), as well as giving criminal elements the ability to call you for what you could perceive as being a legitimate request.
