Here are a few I have posted so far of local parks and some other places I have visited in the last month.

Please feel free to post your pics here I would love to see different places from all over the world and UK.

Nice. Here's one of the Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth. I was going to call this huge erection but folks might misunderstand...

M'Lady,

Thank you, I do love to see pictures of places around the world. Since I can not travel I get to enjoy the world thru the pictures other see. To see the world thru their eyes ..where they live and visit.

Hey guys! Great idea for a thread... going to try one first. Had to really reduce the size and then I'll get busy on some more! :D

This one is from Tortola, enjoy!

Here's one of the 'Pyramid of the Sun' on the 'Avenue of the Dead'. This is located 25 miles north east of Mexico City at a ancient ruined city called Teotihuacán. This pyramid is the largest structure in the city. I spent a day at Teotihuacán and it was simply breathtaking, we then hit the Tequila :D

i thought this would be a great way to see places as i've only ever been as far as Eire. never been out of the UK.

Thanks everyone for posting some gorgeous pics. Its good to see the contrast in scenery and building styles and variations in photographic style and skill.

Here's to a long and interesting thread:)

Thanks Mrs S . It's amazing how many beautiful places you just don't think of till some one asks you to think of somewhere interesting.

Heres a couple from the Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy, Fife.

Here are some of the Hill Country here in Texas. Just a few hours north of me

Enjoy

:)

~great pics by everyone~

These are all pictures I took at the house I used to live at out in the country. I'm in the city now, and while it's convient to be able to order a pizza for delivery, the scenery can't compare. ;)

thanks Mrs S. It had struck me a a nice idea to share them. I have taken up doing a lot of walking recently and always have my camera with me. It's just a cheap Vivitar 3510S 3.2 MP fixed focus compact thing. but it has got me hooked. I am hoping to get a much better cam nearer the end of the year hopefully a nikon D40. Then have the fun to master it.

Would you believe one of those disposable ones ... lol

I have some more around here on a disk and will dig them out this weekend, I might even have a few of the surrounding city.

Great thread idea cs!
I love all the pics so far but the snow one is my favourite as we had no snow at all this year :(.
Ill get onto OGME about posting some of his pretty ones, mine are all of hairy cows and cute sheep and stuff - not much scenery at all.
