I heard a quick word from Yui last week. She lives

I heard from her about a week or so ago. We keep missing eachother on IM.

She said she has a new job away from home and can't use the internet there, (Big Brother is watching and all that.) But that she hopes to be back to lit soon.

No one here can know how much I miss Yui. I am very glad and relieved that she is doing fine. I was honestly worried. I have her on my buddy list and every time I saw her name I thought the worst, but prayed for her safety and quick return. Thanks for the update in letting me know she is okay.

Um . . . at least that's what it means in legal lingo. I know it's latin for "in absence," but I just had a Criminal Procedures test and that was one of the terms ingrained in my brain.
