Where do you access Lit from?

I've been wondering. How many people cruise the boards at work? Or do you do it at school? Mostly home, but sometimes at work/school? Do you use a hand-held to titillitate your fancy with the stories? What do you do with the resultant boner/headlights?

If you surf at work, is there a policy against it? Can you get fired for it?
If you surf at school, is there a policy against it? Can you get expelled/academic probation/whatever for it?
If you surf at home, is there a policy against it? Will your S/O get huffy?

If you surf a combination of two or three, how much do you spend at work, how much at home, etc.?

How dangerous is your LitAddiction to your livlihood and/or domestic peace?

I'd do a poll, but there's too many variables.

My answer:

I do about 90% of my Lit'ing at home. The StudMuffin reads the boards and the stories. He likes mine best. :)

I do about 10% at school. I keep that almost strictly to the board with avs, sigs, and imgs off. I critiqued a few stories at school once. There is no policy against it that I know of.

I could access Lit from work and not get in trouble, because I'm my own boss, but it seems inappropriate to do so, and I would not want to have an employee or client walk in and surprise me.
I have signed on a few times though for a specific purpose, if I was awaiting a PM from a friend with a problem, or something like that.

When I'm working from my home office, Lit is always on - I bring it up out of the background whenever I need a break.

But when I'm at the office, it's totally off limits. We had to sign papers saying that we would not visit "porn sites" while on the network. So......I don't.

I'm not sure what they'd do to me if I violated the policy - it's a pretty small office and I don't think they would really fire me. That would hurt them too much. But I think I owe it to them to follow the rules.

There are days when I spend way too much time here - but, I manage to get all my work done, so I guess it's ok.

like you, 90% from home but on wednsday and thursday afternoon i work at my guitar store and if it's slow i access there. thursday my partner gives guitar lessons in another part of the store so i turn off av's etc so the little chillin' don't see anything they're not supposed to see.

as far as lit addiction being dangerous to my livelyhood it's really not. should i be doing more creative things with my time? probably, but i don't really spend a lot of time on board when i should be doing other things. i am not an addict..:( i'm NOT..:D i can quit any time i want to and besides, i don't inhale.

I play on Lit from home.
I have my own clinic so I am the boss. My computer there is on dial-up and has a nasty habit of ripping me from the net at will. Only caught once by a patient. It wasn't pretty....

I only access Lit. from home. My bf knows I access lit and he spends just as much time on AC. I don't think it's any sort of threat to my domestic peace.

I only sign on when I am @ home ...

School /work ... I don't ... there is no need. I am to busy with what I am doing to be signing on and honestly I don't wanna sign on ... go figure. :)

I access Lit from work mostly, home occasionally. We have no policies here, we won't allow them. Pollicies are restrictive of our personal realities.

I'm not kidding. That is exactly what one of our board members said. Of course he's also lived in a one room hut he built himself for the last 20 years. Still not kidding.

my home office, and only my home office. I'm the only one that uses this computer, it's MY computer, my Wife and Daughter have their own computers to do what they please on them.

Can I come work for you? That sounds really neat.

I am at home. Hubby knows how bad my Lit addiction is and he doesnt care a bit. It has enhanced out sex life....he benefits so of course i wont hear him complaining. :D

on occasion i get out my toys while here. but for the most part i just tease and have fun....thats it...

I access from work and home and I do it waaaaaayyyyyy too much both places.

Is there a Lit 10-step program or something? I'm an addict.

i access it from my bedroom in my bed, or take a peek at my man's house **peek** i see you

My cum-stained couch

I don't have a real computer, just webtv. So I usually CUM to Lit. totally nude, leaning back on my cum-stained couch, my toys (10" realistic cock vib, vibrating egg, nipple clamps, slim vib, occasionally others) on my end table. I post and masturbate for hours! I LUV Lit.
The people at Lit. are friendly and almost as hot as me! I have gained the reputation os the Lit. Slut, which is probably accurate. Wendy (aka sexyspank) once asked me if my legs ever met. They do up at the top. And that's where all the fun is!!!!!!! :p :p :p

Sure! We can't pay you, but you are more than welcome to join the freak show of our 70 some odd volunteers and hang out regularly in front of my office discussing various protest marches and how everything was better in the 60's.

Since I moved to Spain, I´ve mostly accessed Lit from a public computer in an internet cafe. I don´t really worry about it, since porn is proudly and openly displayed on every corner kiosk here. What a great country.

I only access Lit from home. According to the network agreement I'm not supposed to access porn sites within the school network. Downloading pictures is not allowed.

I personally don't really care. I never do it in school, but in my dorm, why should there be a restriction? I'm allowed to do anything else in the confines of my bedroom, then why not access Lit? I personally don't classify Lit as a straight porn site either. Dunno why... I read the stories, and I doubt they'd care about that. It's not like there are thousands of window of hard core porn popping up....

The only thing that'd would happen is a warning, and then later on they shut off my network connection. Even if they probably have a log for my account, I highly doubt the lazy geezers at the comp. department would check if a few thousand students access porn sites every day...

I access Lit from both work and home. There's no policy at work, but I'm sure the boss would not be amused should I ever get caught. I probably average 25% of my Lit time from work. No restrictions at home, although there should be. I spend WAY too much time here.

I access primarily from home but have checked once or twice from school. The only reason I did that was I was waiting for a PM from someone and didn't want to wait. Yes, I can be a little impatient :)

Surfing the board at school is a definite problem. If someone finds it questionable, you can be shown the door for a few days. I have yet to see this enforced though. I don't really want to push the envelope too much on this one.

The only problem my partner has with me being here is that I tend to be back and forth all evening with it when I should be doing other things. He gets pissy if I'm chatting and not in bed ;)

Sites like this are blocked and my computer is monitored while I am at work. I could lose my job for atempting to access Lit from work.

I am on lit most of the time while I am at home. I think I am addicted. :)

Only access from home. Policies at work against this style surfing, or anything that even resembles porn, smut or contains a cuss word (or so it seems.) So far, we've fired two employees for surfing porn during company time. So yeah, pretty strict.

BUT, dig this one! The night janitors are turning on people's machines on their desks at night and are surfing porn! Several people (that don't have closed offices) have come to work the next morning and found 25 billion porn pop-up banners on their desktop when they arrived. This has happened quite a bit and it's hard to tell which of the custodian staff would be doing this! Of course, that PC's IP is logged, but the odd hours doesn't put the employee at risk. I just found the whole thing rather comical, and with over 700 PC's available at work, there are plenty to choose from! The guy (or grrl) is pretty slick!

A friend of mine actually had the same kind of problem at work. Once something was mentioned about it, the guy got smarter and started cleaning out the history. Of course, he forgot about the cookies.
