I was just sitting her wondering where do our characters go when we authors are not watching over them?

I suspect my lot are sitting around smoking French cigarettes and drinking cheap red wine!

What about yours?

(Thanks to Tom Holt's "My Hero" for the inspiration)

Munchy

My characters spend most of their time being lazy and having unprotected sex because they're a bunch of heathens.

Most of mine are like marionettes, when not actively in a story, they are secured away in neat closets waiting to come out and frolic once more.

Except for Travieso....... that bastard is just out making mischief somewhere, or watching strippers ;)

Mine sit in a corner plotting revenge and ways to do the opposite of what I planned for them.

Mine go on about their lives, or unlives, as the case may be.

I'm just around to watch a report back occasionally.

LOL I love that! Are you into stories about superheroes?

I love Marvel comics.

And I practice my katas.

And I'd love to dress up in a super hero outfit.

Georges gets into all kinds of stuff, Rob.

It's amazing you can even keep up with his adventures.

;)

I'm a DC fan.(snarls) lol

Feel free to dress up in a super hero outfit and post the pics. ;)

Writing an erotic superhero story would be fun.

Mine don't smoke. But they get drunk on a variety of alcohol, cheap white wine being a favorite. Then they fornicate.

Sometimes they tell me stuff so I can write about it, but I think they're lying.

My characters just sit around the waiting room for their casting call. Which only comes when I have time to put pen to paper, as it were.

Take pics. :D

Do you know my husband wants to go as Wolverine this year? He's quite proud of his physique after all the working out we've both been doing and wants to do something in leather.

That would make me Jean Grey. So I might be going in black leather.

(And yes, I'll take pics.)

I'm not sure where mine go, they disappear for a while and come back when they feel like it. Course some stay for so long I wonder what their real motive is.

Um. Sproing!

Let's see. Linda is probably working on a case right now. Oh, and she has a boyfriend. I know, because the next book hasn't come out yet and it opens with his death in a car accident. Jan and Jack are in Paris - I got a post card from them the other day. Of course, the bad guy is dead. Dave Little died too. Oh, and Marge. Lisa had been dead more then a year when the book started. So basically, I guess a lot of mine go to the morgue.

Oh, and the Captain ran down to the corner to get another bottle for his desk drawer.

:p

Donal' returned to Skye and died peacefully in 1753, just after the uprising. Mhari returned to her ruined bed chamber and can still be seen, sometimes.
