I need a lot.
I need an update of new and old stuff.
I need a spring cleaning in my cd's, actually, but that's beside the point.

I've got hundreds of cd's, some of which i never ever listen to and some of which i don't have a clue how they got in there, either. However, i want more. Where do i get them cheaply?

This worrying about money thing is new to me and i don't know where to get them for cheap. Help me, Rhonda!

Half.com

Or, any place that sells used CDs. We have a couple of places here, Hastings is one of them. The cool thing about that is, you can trade some of the ones you never listen to for some that you will enjoy more.

I have a cd burner in my computer, CD-R's and a marking pen; thanks so much.

I'vve not found places from which i can dl whole songs though, just samples, on the net. Are there such sites?

For the last 6 weeks or so I've been raiding friends collections. I poop in on a Saturday afternoon and borrow a hundred or so CDs and then bring them home and copy them all off to my hard drive.

At some point I'll get them all converted over to MP3 format and burn them back to CDs... (I've already filled 10 CDs with MP3s this way in that 6 week period but I have another 40 or 50 CDs worth still on my hard drive...)

I have a question. Where have you been for a week now, playing with your shower-head?

I subscribe to Emusic. It costs $9.99 a month and I can download and burn all the CDs I want.
They don't have the latest big hits, but if you want Jazz, Blues, World Music, etc. they have a great selection.

Umm Wednesday I munched my car. Well I didn't.. the fence did. :(

Thursday-Spent the day getting estimates to have my car fixed, dealing with my insurance people and trying to get my daughter into see a dr.

Friday-Took mom to her sisters. Help set up for the Garage sale for my daughters baseball team (did that until midnight).

Saturday-Was up at 5:30am.. froze my ass off working the garage sale.

Sunday-Cleaned house and lounged all day.

Monday-Back on the phone attempting to find a dr for my daughter and talking to the car dude to tell him the insurance approved his estimate and it was ok for him to order the parts and paint.

After all that, you need some time with the showerhead, honey!

I have a Mac and when I tried to use Kazaa I couldn't get it to work properly.

With EMusic, if we download 20 CDs a month, and we often do, it's only .50 each, and that's a hell of a bargain.

Options

You want some cheap music I can send you some of my own stuff for free! I play all the instruments and provide the lead plus backup vocals in two self-produced works, "Hogjack Adds a Chord to AC/DC's Greatest Hits" and "Even the Deaf, Dumb and Blind Kid Would Cringe at This Shit".

I'm building a fan base slowly.

You want free good music, well that's another story altogether.

ok.. yeah. Kazaa isn't for Macs. So i see the problem. And yes, if you can get 20 cds a month.. then it is worth paying.

My darling friend, i still have the cd you sent me a year or two ago. I play it, too. You know why--and it doesn't make me cry anymore, either.

Its uplifting in such a beautiful twisted way... on a similar track, I saw the new Placebo album is out.
