I miss some freaks...

Some of the freaks were fun. I still miss Flagg, even though he was pretty freakin' volatile. Damn funny, though.

Speaking of the lovable-if-perhaps-misguided, what the hell happened to Xander?

Don't miss Patryn, though, I gotta admit. What a psycho drama that whole thing was.

But most of the ex-posters that I still remember were those that made a positive impression. The assholes, trolls, multiple personalities, paranoiacs, and one-joke comedians don't usually make it into long term memory. I've got better things to do.

I'm not sure. I have two hypotheses about Felix. I think he was actually an secret government biotech experiment to create a 400 pound pulsating cerebrum suspended in saline and hooked up to the internet.

Either that or he was just a really smart guy.

Ah, so. I just haven't seen him around in a dog's age, which is pretty unusual. He and DCL are the only cookies besides Laurel that I remember from way back in '99 when I found this place. (I'm sure there are others, though.)

Felix was cool. Probably too rational to qualify as a "freak," though. Hmmm...On second though, consistent rationality and wordiness prolley does qualify for a freak badge of some sort.
