After seeing the thread on the deathclock, it got me thinking.

If you were to die right now, where would you go? (Assuming you believe you will actually go somewhere after death.)

I think I have a few years to work of in Purgatory.

Hell, it's where all the fun people will be.

Say hi to my sister, I'm pretty sure she'll be there too. But she's not fun, so... ;)

Thirty years ago or around there I would have said either heaven or hell. Then twenty years ago I would have said heaven. After the last ten years...well...things in my life have caused me to rethink God/devil thing and I have come to the conclusion that there is another answer. An answer that may be strange yet beautiful regardless of what one believes.

About all I want to say on this subject for now.

On second though, after what I did today, I may be vacationing in the big burning hell pit too...

Well, there's always the deathbed forgiveness!

I'm in almost Heaven now.. and when I pass I'll be right there. :)

NO! You've *got* to tell me now! I'm hooked!

I think maybe those reincarnation theory folks have got it right... Maybe not. I like to think we move onto something better, and different. More filled with wonder and discovery and pleasure and understanding of ourselves and others. Not so much of the worship, although awe should be a part of it. I know this is going to sound like complete blasphemy - but I don't necessarily think that whatever afterlife there is will enable us to be with those we have already lost from this life.

So - alone, but happy and fulfilled?

Not necessarily alone, but not guaranteed with people from this life. I always like meeting new people, so maybe I'm weird like that.

Hey - who knows. I'd like to meet up with my grandparents. Or whatever represents who they were...

Well...short technical version that I may not be able to make very clear.

Ancient Hopi and some other Native American Peoples history points to the fact that they came from another world...the fourth such world.

Modern day Scientists in quantum Mechanics are begining to believe that there are an infinite number of parallel worlds. We exist in each of them and any and all decisions we can possibly make has been made, with all possible paths followed thereafter in one of each of these infinite universes.

Thinking about this for a a while has given me an idea that possibly, when we die we (or that which makes us...us) passes into these other universes and we become a part of this...infinite universe.

This is so hard for me to explain...I know what I am thinking and it is not like reincarnation or the like. We cease to exsit in this world...but not in the others.

I have sort of thought this up from different things I have heard or read about over the years...not a truth (yet) and I may never know until I cross that point in the path of life. Problem is...by crossing that point you can not tell anyone...well...not yet anyway.:)

Thanks for telling me - I'm always interested in new points of view. Ever read the Celestine Prophesy? This sounds a bit like that.

I'm pagan and we beleive in reincarnation..:rose:

Thanks sexyeyes1. I'm glad I don't believe in reincarnation, because I'd always be worrying if the next thing I did was going to ruin my attempt at coming back as better than I am now.

morning crowd checking in.

I am thinking reincarnation.....just because......
