its in durbon although probably will be going to johannesburg and perhaps cape town too ... also have some shark diving planned ... going to do some scuba diving training before going on holiday so dont have to waste half the holiday learning it first ... its in august but still should be very warm the prices for south africa are very good too look

we've been given tons of warnings about the high crime rate there ... apparently you SHOULD'NT stop at "robots" ... because of car jackings ... kinda scary but we're probably be in a big group mostly i think if we do hire a car we wont go for one of the "bakkies" because they are a prime target for car jackers although they sound pretty cool

The crime rate is a problem.

My cousin's company car was a BMW and it was stolen twice. His MD eventually pointed out that all the execs had BMWs but they all drove beaten up VWs to work.

I'm not going anywhere for vacation (we don't call it haliday in canada) but my baby is comeing to see me

YAY. we've worked it out she is comeing here at the end of June for the fredom festival. huge ass carnavel at the river. and the big fireworks event, biggest one in north america. yay this is gonna be so fun.

but not going anywhere. well mabey come the end of august or early september I want to visit my freind in england. Mabey i'll swing by your plays sexy-girl and give a wave

Our whole family went when I was a kid, and I've always wanted to go back. Just the idea of high tea on the porch, looking out over the straits is like a balm to me, I am really looking forward to it.

My boyfriend is taking me the 24th to Johnson City, Tn to meet my best (online) friend.
I have been friends with him( yes its a guy) for going on 6 yrs and we have never had a chance to meet.
So my boyfriend suggested we meet. He would take me to meet him.
My friend is married and lives in NY but is orginally from VA and he is going to drive to us when we get to Johnson City so me and him can spend the day together.. without my boyfriend.
My friend is coming home for a family get together.
(Aww.... to bad his wife isnt coming........ NOT! LOL)

I know this is much of a vacation for most people but concidering i havent been able to go anywhere since my son was born nearly 6 yrs ago im going to enjoy the heck out of it....lol

You will love SA SG - I spent a lot of my life as a kid out there - my old man lives in the Cape - You must get down to CT as iit is much better than Joburgh - The weather in August wont be the warmest as they are still in Winter - and in evening the temp does fall especially in Joburgh as it is at altitude - but gets warm during day.

Go shark diving, though make sure you dont drink too much the night before as you are on a small boat for about 5 hours and it does get a bit rough - the great whites are awesome, they come right up to the boat and it is like being in a jaws remake.

I am back out to the Cape for xmas and New Year- my Bro owns bar and restaurant near Cape Town cant wait. and it is bloody cheap as you have mentioned . You just cant spend the money !!

thanks gord ... average temps should be about 74 so thats ok for me ... both lisa and i burn pretty quickly so its probably just as well not going in full heat of summer
