It also wisely makes no promises about impacting the rate at which climate changes and in which direction.

The (unknown) degree to which man's activities are and will continue to impact climate systems will not be affected in any meaningfull way by these, at times expensive, empty gestures.

But I do support your efforts the same way as I support good Christians, Wiccans, Jews, Muslims, and rain-dancing Natives praying over the earth.

None of these measures are going to impact the release of CO2 in any meaningful way on a global scale, unless draconian measures are allowed to be enacted that result in mass starvation.

That only assures a temporary increase in property tax revenue (unless of course that simply leads to property tax defaults and abandonment of property)

It is no guarantee that the property values that are assessed to arrive at the taxable amount will not drop correspondingly, as potential buyers consider all the net costs of owning a particular piece of property when deciding how much they are willing to pay.

If it leads to a lower rate of influx of new residence it can certainly drain the tax base for all the other taxes incurred.

If you could tax your way to fiscal Health California would be the most fiscally spund state in the Union. But it's not despite having a massive economic stream to tax.

Aren't most state governments funded by sales tax and/or income tax? In Florida only local entities tax real property.
