Free speech boards tend to attract much of society's vermin. The board is even outdated, sorry to say. Looks like something from 1999. So you have a bunch of past their prime old goats thinking that they are back in high school circa 1972. It's pathetic.
They do know they can get away with much more on here than other places, even when banned, they return. Of course they wouldn't behave like this on other social media sites due to the convenience of anonymity and/or stricter board rules.

I agree, as I pointed out in my thread a few days back - then people who had been repeatedly banned, got banned again, then reappeared under new names posting the same stuff. Chuck a few dozen alts in the mix and its now a boring place to be. In effect the alts have pissed in their own drinking water losing their once almost captive audience.
Hopefully though its a cyclical thing and will pick up soon.

here are some simple steps to work toward resuscitation:
1) don't feed the trolls. they are only here to gain attention so don't give them any. don't click on their posts.
2) if you can't resist the clickbait, don't respond. all the trolls want is attention, no matter positive or negative. when they stop getting any, they'll go away.
3) use the ignore option. otherwise, you are the only one responsible for what you see. fuck 'free speech', you have choices.
4) finally, play nice. if you want this to be a pleasant place then do your part to make it that way. don't complain about trolls if you're a troll, too.
