I married my last Dom after dating for over a few years. Events happened that changed me and in the end, us both perhaps. Nevertheless, when it came down to it and this just what I believe. Just because you are submissive doesn't mean you have to stand for something like that. Pretty much what everyone else has been saying already. =)
Things will get better and you will move on. Hurts yes, but perhaps it will help you in the long run with the next one.
