When you read the stories what categories do you read?

What types of stories do you like? Not like?

I generally like romance, EC, non-consent, and sometimes BDSM stories. I like a romance or EC storie to be well developed, though, and not just 2 people meeting and having sex. Stories with sex are better than sex with a little bit of story. I like the non-consent stories not because I'd want to be in that situation but because I would like to be in a sexual situation where I didn't have total control over what was going to happen...to not be responsible for my own pleasure once in a while and let someone else take care of it.

I usually don't like fetish, lesbian, or group sex stories. A lot of fetish stories describe acts I wouldn't feel comfortable with, so of course reading them does nothing for me. Depictions of lesbian or group sex just don't turn me on, so I don't read them.

I mean, there's gotta be at least a fifth of us who post regularly on the GB who are also authors at this site. Everyone knows that, right? Right? You just click on the little www at the bottom of our posts to get to the Lit HP that lists all our poems and/or stories. Easy. Simple.

Anyway, diatribes aside, i read the poems (y'all know there are poems here, don't you? and audio recordings, too), and in the stories, i read BDSM mostly. I go look around in other places, too, when someone i know posts something new but i stick pretty closely to BDSM, to be honest, and all my stories/poems are in that genre.

It's good to see I'm not the only one that likes the non-con stories. I know there are some people who think those that like those kinds of stories are either sick because they like rape or want to be raped, or sick because because they want to commit rape, when it's not like that at all.

I generally don't like the audio that much. When I read a story, my mind makes up voices for the characters (hey, does that mean I have voices in my head LOL) and inflections, and a story or poem just loses something when it's read by someone else.

Oh, and Demian? Be glad your life didn't mimic Psycho. I think The Birds is pretty mild opposed to what it could be. Still, that's pretty wrong for her to do. At least I think...nothing wrong with the fantasy or idea, but what she did, yeah, there's something wrong. JMO.
