I think the reason people don't want to argue about it or confront it, is because they're tired of hearing it. Especially if they're being accused of being something they're not, but are put into the same group just because of the color of their skin. Has a familiar ring to it, doesn't it?

But, on the other side of the coin, if your friends can't criticize you (or themselves) when you (or they) act like dumbasses, then they're not really your friends, are they?
