promoting/hoping for more bro/sis stories.
i know "as if there aren't enough."

But I'm suggesting that you attack a very specific theme.

Over in a thread on the AH, I posted a fragment which is, at least for now, cut from my current WIP, a bro/sis story (a kink which is outside my normal wheelhouse).

"Just because no other man has succeeded doesn’t mean you won’t. You are my brother after all. That is a tremendous advantage. When you dance, you dance to the same music that I hear.”

I'm not looking for this to be a serious discussion here of the truth or falsity of that last sentence, that belongs in the AH.
What I'm looking to promote is stories that illustrate the truth or falseness organically as a theme of the story. Let's show the power of fiction.

Which requires Story Ideas. So please post some.

Just to be clear, you are looking for more realistic incest stories?

The OP bounced around a bit as if you had two competing ideas in your head when you wrote it.

ohh, of course not realistic. real incest is horrid.

I'm not sure what you're asking.
Stories where either the bro/sis combination demonstrates a "home field advantage" compared to the guys she's dated before, or that is what they expect but things go disasteruously the opposite way.

Yes, they have the home field advantage as they have lived together all their lives. Even if step-siblings, (I have written one of these) most will have at least several years under the same roof. So they get to know each other's tics, foibles, and likes/dislikes. It's an intimacy that is safe and loving (under ideal circumstances). I know some folks like to write the "enemies to lovers" version as I've read a few of those myself.

It could be that "Adam" watches as his sister "Eve" comes home after yet another failed date. All the guys were creeps, not respecting his sister and he has to fight the urge to kick some ass every time she comes home angry or upset. Tonight was the worst though. Not just upset, but crying as she ran up the stairs, past Adam in the hallway and into her room.

Adam doesn't need to know the details and he knows where to find Jimmy McCallister on a late Saturday night. Dobies Diner was the local hangout for young adults under 21. Eve's brother was sure Jimmy would be there now, lying about how it "got it on" with his little sister, instead of making her cry. He grabbed a shirt, his phone and keys and headed out the door.

Adam returned an hour later, a little sweaty and his knuckles scuffed, but otherwise none the worse for wear. Jimmy wasn't going to date anyone anytime soon.

"Oh my god! Adam! You shouldn't have." He found himself wrapped in Eve's arms in the hallway between their bedrooms. "Debbie texted me. You kicked his ass! Thank you, Adam...that means so much."

and...it carries on from there.
