When the Demortes go slumming

Thursday is check day, but we have direct deposit.

Camelot is having solar panels installed today. Loud.

I'm writing smut.

We don't have a round table, but we do have a really nice kitchen island.

Poor Ms_FailTroll, a slum would be a move up for you and the waste of human flesh Lancecaster.

One would think that you would learn that making an attack thread about Reci rarely works out well for you. Tired of Lit again already?

ooo, fancy!

Right?! I'm a grownup! I can have mozzarella for lunch! (I did.)

I can have ice cream for dinner! (There's this egg nog ice cream and it is SOOO good.)

THIS IS AWESOME!

Plus... SOLAR PANELS!

It's shiny!

We officially have mirrors on the ceiling!

I should mention I had to prompt Ulaven to ask me what your name had been because I forgot it, Ann. We get old, we lose track. I'm sorry.

So many things get old.

Lance I remembered though.

Poor Ms_FailTroll couldn't make it through an entire day huh dummy?

Better warm up a new alt. This one's burnt.

I think Reci should receive a merit badge for the way she handled herself through that nastiness.

Hey...Maybe Uli can take some pics for us of the way she handles herself.

We just recently watched "Penny Dreadful" and there are all these characters that think they're good but what they are is written inconsistently and have no real discernable motivation other than narcissistic self-aggrandizement and shock value (oh, but they like poetry, they're sensitive...) Just that terrible TV trope where writers try to illustrate how people are complicated but mostly they end up with stupid, inconsistent and justifying.

Then there's Dorian Gray. He's a bad guy. A refreshingly honest, well written, consistent bad guy who knows what he wants and it isn't being bored by other people's narcissistic self-aggrandizement. I end up clapping for him at some of his most evil moments because really, at least he doesn't justify his evil ass constantly, he's just who he is.

So he's my favorite from the show because I get really sick of assholes that think they're good guys and I can respect a stand up bad guy, which I consider you to be.

So congratulations, you're a memorable honest bad guy who doesn't try to sell himself as a Warrior of the People or something equally badly written and prone to stupid and justifying. You even have moments of actual humanity. I know, clutch the pearls, but it happens.

Thanks for the virtual badge.

And no pictures. I mean, really, people on the internet get the wrong idea ALL the time and I just wonder... gosh... that might not be... the smartest thing to do...

I don't know, maybe I'm just shy.

I thought that was just the right amount of humanity to get some Reci pron.

Probably not without getting another warning though huh Ms_FailTroll?

Surprise! When you make a vanity thread the people you decided to talk about show up, in this case to make fun of you.

Yes, of course. Everyone read the post. There was no actual reference to a forum restriction. There was no specific poster referred to.

It was actually quite clever, don't you you think? :)

That has been proven.

Why you want to is beyond me but you keep on talking about me, and I keep on marveling at it because why, and then I remember it is no deeper than your brain being broken, which makes me sad that you have to be you.

Then I realize that with all your investment of energy I have no retained memory of much of what you have said and I did in fact properly prioritize your importance in my life to where time passes and I have forgotten your names and the content that bears the characteristics of an 80s MIDI loop of music that makes me mute it.

So go me.

I do feel sorry for you, but not for long, then I forget.

I hope one day you do arrive at realizing that I should be just as important to you as you are to me.

No matter how hard you advertise or tell me that you saved me a seat, I don't care except to think - holy shit, what a waste of time and effort.
