When Television Stations do stupid things

its so frustrating.

Tonight, TBS had the movie Soldier on, a fairly decent movie. what do they do but rerun immediately after they run it the first time. I just sat through it once do you really think I am going to sit through it a second time to catch any little nuiances I missed in the first viewing in the last two hours.

TLC for the first 10 dyas of October had some great new fresh non rerun shows. Come the 11th and they start them all over again in double and tripple time. Allt he shows I can watch and speak verbatum as the speakers do.

UPN picked up Buffy and Enterprise for the fall winter run. Great tuesdays and wednesday viewing all planned out. Tune in on Saturday what do I find the same episodes being repeated from earlier in the week. Shouldn't reruns at least wait until the season is over?

TNN being playing the old Mad TV reruns three weeks ago, great , kinda cool even cause it had been a 3Am show I didn't want to stay up for. So now in the evening they play 2 30 minute episodes Monday to Friday. the second week the same 10 shows as the first week. Last week again the same 10 episodes, I fear this week will be the same 10 episodes.

FOX, used to be 'the' Sunday night station. Simpson, Futurama, King of the hill, Malcoml in the middle, Xfiles. Well first seasonn simspons and the same xfile for 4 weeks now. ARgh.

TSN Canadas sports station, won't let TNN air Raw is war in Canada. but feels free enough to censor 3/4 of the show for violence{which everyone knows is fake} but will show any real sports violence from ten different angles, but not a woman through a table

YTV, cool kids channeel picked up a few cool kid/adult toons reruns them every saturday for like 6 weeks now.

anyways what TV statison do you find screwed in the head and shows that they really don't have a clue

dont know about the trest but the reason that TSn dont let TNN broadcast Raw in Canada is cause TSN has exclusive rights to Raw here. If TSN had to delay raw for some reason and TNN had showed it allready who would watch it on TSN. they have to protect their investment.

There is only so much new stuff on T.V. Try nature channels, you'll find the same thing. History channel - same. Any and all others - same old same old.

Books are a better bet, unless you can't remember the ones you've read before.

Ummm Todd?

Did it ever occur to you that you watch too much television? I couldn't even tell you what's on TV this fall. I must admit I was really excited to see that Buffy is on Fox on Saturday nights, because we don't get the channel she's on regularly... but c'mon, how can you even attempt to keep up with all those shows and still have a life?

VCR and timer recorder I am not usually in when the shows I like are to be broadcast so I record them for when they are on and then watch them when I have the time to.

I like to see new shows not spend the time fast forwarding a 10 hour tape to actually see only 1 hours of new program

TV?? what is that?

oh .. that's that thing i used to surf the web on.. when i was using a webtv..

i couldn't tell you what is on if my life depended on it.. i don't watch tv..

but i'm thinking... maybe they rerun those movies.. so if people don't see them the first time (cuz they aren't home from work.. or don't watch tv while eating dinner), then they can see it the next time it's on

*shrugs* who knows..

anyway.. if you don't like what's on.. turn it off.. just a suggestion tho ;)
