When on vacation, do you take pictures...

OF THE BATHROOM! Let's face it. We are not Pamela Anderson and Brett Michaels, or Pamela and Tommy Lee, or Pamela Lee and Kid Rock. We do take pictures on vacation and frankly, when in a good hotel that I will never afford again, I take photos of that damn bathroom with the 15 power showerheads and the Hermes shampoo! What odd pictures do you take on your vacation?

I want to see the fifteen shower heads and the Hermes shampoo.

During a trip to New Orleans I took photos of a graveyard. My friends found it odd, but I thought that the crypts were actually quite interesting looking and remarkable.

I too have taken pics of the bathroom in my hotel room. I was staying at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Shenzhen, China when I was there on business.

Not only did it have a jacuzzi tub, but a walk in shower the size of most bathrooms. With a shower head that had about eight different settings. There was on that just filled the shower with mist, another that foamed the water.

It was the coolest part of the room.

My friend once had a great shower setup in the victorian in San Francisco he and his wife were renting...

I took photos of that. It was awesome and I wanted to, at the least, duplicate the cabinet that allowed towels to be slid into the shower.

When we visited the Sealife Centre I realised I could never get any sort of credible footage of the fishies so I taped people shooting video.

One day I found myself in The Louvre queueing for half an hour surrounded by possibly hundreds of others and taking a glimpse of La Giaconda (Mona Lisa).

The next day I was in the Musée d'Orsay with very few people around staring in fascination at 'Arrangement in Grey and Black: The Artist's Mother' by J M Whistler.

I spent this half hour gazing in admiration as most of the other patrons glanced idly or halted momentarily as they consulted their expensive catalogue guides.

Were you on the left or the right in the photo?

And don't tell anybody, but I did take a pic of the awesome bathroom complete with six person jacuzzi in that hotel I stayed in.

I didn't take a picture of the bathroom, but that room we stayed in was one of the largest hotel rooms we'd ever stayed in. It was really more like a bed-sitting room than a regular room.

BTW, Jomar, what did that link show you? Some of my friends in my other forums have had difficulty following links leading to Snapfish sites. You're supposed to be able to see all the pictures we took.

I took pictures of the shower in a safari camp in Kwa-Zulu Natal. The tub was so big you could swim laps, I swear you could, and it had a picture window that looked out over a ravine where the monkeys came down to water.
