Name: Adrian Ham
Age: 49
Height: 6 ft
Eyes: Piercing Blue
Hair: Black, with grey highlights and slightly balding, so cropped short
Build: Tall, broad like a rugby player but also carries some middle age spread
Profession: Accountant
Adrian sighed heavily. It was the tenth attempt to get the slightly aging desktop working, but it seemed to either fail to boot up, or quickly developed a 'blue Screen of Death'.
"Fuck it" he mumbled to himself.
Removing the power-lead, he opened up the desktop again, and removed t he hard-drive, and inserted it into his 'gadget' connected to his own desk top.
Moments later, he was able to open the directory using the Linux equivalent of Window's explorer and was soon able to open the directories. He Went into Users, and started to copy the entire contents of Paula's daughter's onto a separate hard-drive.
He reached for his mobile and started to send a text to Paula, their cleaner.
"Hi Paula, the bad news is that the PC seems to be beyond economical repair, Good news is that I can retrieve your daughter's data for her"
He read it a couple of times before he pressed send.
Paula was their cleaner, for over ten years, where she worked four hours a week, normally on a Monday and on Thursday though she did some times change her days. She was reliable and trustworthy, and a determined single mother of two children As an accountant Adrian often worked from home, and so met Paula regularly, and so was aware of her frustrations in life.
Currently he daughter's desktop which she needed for her media and film studies had just failed.
