When do you give a 5 star rating to a story?

Hi all, I was curious to know what warrants a 5-star rating from you? Personally, I only give 5 stars if a story has made me cum. I'd like to know if anyone else has that (self-imposed) rule.

On a side note, have any of my stories ever made any of you cum?

yes i certain stories have had that affect on me....lol. as for the rating, to receive 5 stars a story has to draw me into the character, not just get me off. i want to be able to feel what the writer is trying to get across to the readers.

It needs to be an actual story with a plot, developed characters and edited. Too many are sex scenes with words thrown in to hit the word limit. I haven't read a lit story, except for friends, in about 2 years but I know I read at least 2 that I would have given 5 stars.

The story has to get me heated up. I don't care if the author is brand new or very experienced. If I can relate to the particular story, feel myself in the situation, keeps me interested from start to finish, somewhat good editing then I will give it a 5.
If I don't like the story I usually won't rate it. One thing that ticks me off is the comments sometimes. Example, my hubby & I read loving wives stories together. It's his biggest fetish. We'd see comments like if that was my wife I'd kick her the fuck out, I'd kill the guy, bla, bla, bla. Obviously the story wasn't for you, yet they feel the need to slam it.

There has to be context, background and something I can relate to. Understanding where the characters are coming from, the build up towards the sex is that much more and gets 5 stars from me
